Really? what do you base that off? Wlad has a stronger case to be in the top 100 and I wouldn't even put him in there yet.
In his era, yes. You can't do much more than dominate who is there to fight. Where you place him as 'all time' is your choice but he is an ATG in my view.
People call him **** but then put him in the top 25 greatest heavyweights of all time- that makes no sense
If we are going by divisions alone, shouldnt atg be reserved as the top 10??Vitali is nowhere close to top 10
His KO percentage, along with the fact he's never been down, and has never been behind on the cards, speaks volumes for the level of fighter he is. And not to mention that he reclaimed his title after four years of being idle and two surgeries, and did so, not by a mere win (which would have been impressive enough), but rather he reclaimed his title, COLD, with a thorough THRASHING of the current titleholder. A former champion who comes back and shows such dominance over the current title holder, after being out of the sport for so long and NO warmups, was unprecedented and was history making. THe guy has lost that many rounds in his entire career, for cryin out loud! Come on now.
