A lot of people acknowledge this even Lennox trainer Emmanuel Steward

Depends how long a list you want to draw up. He is top 25/30 maybe even a little higher but he is not top 10. Who knows how it could have gone had the level of competition been higher for him. He held his own against Lennox and although it was not the best Lennox in there he was landing some good shots and Vittali was not moving which shows he probably could have done well against a higher level of opponent than he has been forced to face.

You may be getting a bit confused by the 'Team Klitschko' thing, boxing is not a team sport.

Chris Byrd ranks higher , beat Vitali, and has a better record than Vitali.

He aint a hall of famer or an ATG.

    Thats that cleared up.

I am a huge Vitali fan but here is how it is:

Head 2 Head he would be a tough fight for anyone simply do to his Iron Chin, Height, and most of all Awkward Style. People don't realize how awkward he is in the ring I talked with Cedric Boswell who sparred with him and he said he simply could not land anything meaningful on him he was hard to judge and when you think you can hit him he just pulls/leans back and you miss him by 2 feet. Steward had a great analysis of this during the Arreola fight.

All Time there is no way he is in a Top 10. He lost 4 years of his Prime to injuries so that is at least 8 fights. I am not sure I have him in my top 20 All Time I would have to sit down and write it out.

The guy can fight and people forget he already had a ton of mileage on him when he went into Boxing.
