knowing Haye antics... since he doesnt have anything to bargain with or bring to the table, im sure the threat of retiring is being used as a ploy in talks to get something more out of K2
"I want this, I want that or I will retire":hey:yep

Nobody deserves it, it doesnt matter. This fight has actually some potential in it. Better than any other fight except for Wlad-Klitschko or Klitschko-Helenius

"David Haye comes out of retirement to face Vitaly Klitchko for the heavyweight championship of the world. After losing the title in his last fight the former two weight division ruler has been retired. Now he is back and aims to become the two time heavyweight champion"

I'm not sure I really want to see another utterly boring performance from Haye against a big heavy again. Do people really want to see this dull clown running for 12 rounds throwing 4 punches a round yet again?

    :patsch

The ironic thing is the English on this site really still believe Haye is the new Ali, it's all quite sad really. In reallity a rematch with Kevin Johnson would be just as exciting if not more.

Exactly... the casual fan will think "Wow, David really stepped up":patsch:patsch

Everything and i mean EVERYTHING David does is very calculated. This talk of retiring is a ploy in contract talks and or to make David look better for taking the fight.... EXACTLY what you wrote above.

Vitali does not have Wlad's one punch KO power, nor does he have his defense or footwork/speed.

Vitali literally has to walk his opponents down in the offense mode, whereas Wlad can lure them into punching range as his opponents often believe he has a soft chin, so they look to counter of the jab.

Haye is a better CPer than people give him credit for, and should Vitali miss his R hand in his jab/straight combo, Haye could land that winging R hand, and back the big man up a time or too.
It worked vs Wlad, but was limited due to Wlad's superior defense.

I don't think Haye can beat either K2, no matter their age, but he would fare better vs Vitali especially since he's built confidence in his chin taking Wlad's R hand repeatedly throughout the fight.

MOF....he looked less tentative against Wlad after round 6 then he did vs Harrison in their fight.

The fight should be made, and Haye given his rightful 35% as a high drawing challenger.

I agree with Chef that this is a marketing ploy to get him that 35% without the belt or the mandaotry position typically needed for that high a payday.

Vitali knows his time is limited, and adding the 4th best HW of his generation would boost his AT ranking in the eyes of the writers, and since the brothers are basically boxing for pride at the moment(financially secure, surefire HOFers), Vitali and haye both should really WANT this bout.

    JUST IMHO.:good

people said the same about Wlad.....but i do agree...most likely a closer, more exciting fight....Vitali is not so methodical in his application of the sweet science...i think he likes to get hit

No he ****ing can't brother. Vitali is deceptively fast with his hands that his workrate will prove to much and unless your boy runs around the ring, he's going to get his faced caved in.

if u watch the wlad fight closely, u can see wlad did not have much success hitting haye. i admit wlad won the fight, but, in no way was that fight a blow out. if u see the end of the fight, wlad's face was more fugged up than hayes.
