Only reason people rate Vitali is because he lasted 6 rounds with an ATG. He should be thankful he got the chance, history would not have looked at him so kindly without that fight.
yea TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT...you did see the fight didnt you??where did lewis knock out vitali because i didnt see it and was shitting myself because lewis wasnt handling it to well and was releaved when the doctor stopped it due to a cut...but honestly i cant remember when lewis knocked vitali out or when the ref stepped in and stopped it due to vitali not being able to defend himself...maybe when i left when i thought lewis had won on a cut stoppage the fight went on and lewis knocked vitali out..i really cant believe ive went all this time thinking the doctor stopped it..thanks for showing me my error you sir are a ****ing leg-end
Basically, if TKO doesn't count as a knockout, we can abandon this line that Vitali has the highest knock-out percentage in HW history, and that Wlad has 49 ko's. A TKO happens to PREVENT a dangerous knockout because the opponent is unable to defend themselves, and Vitali would certainly have been knocked out with one eye and unable to see punches.
I never said Vitali was knocked out, I said he lost by Knock out. Where on boxrec does it say that Lewis won by 'doctor stepping in?' :nono
