    This. :deal

Lewis didn't even train, yet he still brutalised Peak Vitali & tore him a new face.

It's amazing the lengths they'll go at, and then they wonder why they think a lot of people are Klit haters. Maybe if they try to stop legitimizing dilapidated opposition as a justification for Vitali being invincible they wouldn't get such reactionary comments.

I actually re-watched Briggs-Lewis and Briggs while never a great HW was still a pretty fast HW with pretty good power/speed. It's a life and day difference between the one Lewis KOed inside 5 rounds and the one that lasted the distance with Vitali. Even if he was never much. What I truly love his how people started to act like Briggs was iron chinned because he went the distance.

    He maybe better at 39..

But the better question is, what the hell has he been doing before the age 30?

Lewis was already a legit WBC champ by the age of 27.

WTF are u talking about.... My whole thread was about the fact that at age 39, Vitali looked 10x better than the 37 year old version of Lewis beating Vitali.... Lewis only won 1-2 ****ing rounds.... he was getting owned by Vitali... Last night Vitali was unmarked, winning EVERY round, Briggs connected maybe 2-3 power shots on him the whole 12 rounds...

While I agree that the fight probably should have been stopped in the 7th, Shannon Briggs was obviously trying to prove something and show fans(German fans in particular) that he was still a viable opponent so he can keep getting those paydays.

Lewis was a lazy son of a ***** thanks to his cockiness. A few times during preparation in his career he wasn't a serious athlete and let himself go. Vitali on the other hand has a very professional attitude in his preparation each and every time. It appears during his time in Germany Vitali took a page out of the German book of discipline and quality and adopted a very discipline and methodical approach to training, nutrition and conditioning.
