Don't know yet?, because he beat him. If he lost to him then he's a bum who can't beat a legitimate threat.
If you had read the thread properly i gave him credit for this fight but was talking about his fights he lined up between 1999-2002 AFTER he beat Hide in 99.
:good Why does there alwasy seem to be a double standard when referring to the Klitschko Brother?:huh Typical ESB
We talked about those opponents too when you mentioned them, I didn't get any good enough response. He fought high rank contenders on the WBO, Byrd was one of them where he lost the title. Then came back after the surgery/injury to fight Hoffman, Norris, Bean, Donald, Purrity and Lewis.
Anyone with half a brain knew he would beat him, Samuel Peter is small, slow and clumsy. He still gets credit for taking on the #2 guy and whooping him but we're talking about the past, not the present.
You didn't show ****. The point that Roy beat a bunch of past, future or reigning champions is not "complete and utter bull****". it is a FACT. All you said was that if a fighter isn't unified or linear, then he isn't a champion, which is clearly ******ed. That would mean that Vitali isn't a real champion and Wladimir isn't either if we only consider the "big-3" titles. ... and I suggest you look again, champ. I didn't bring up Roy, I was responding so someone else. :finger
5 of who are complete garbage and give Vitali no credit at all, do you think anyone cares that he beat Hoffman, Norris, Bean, Donald and Purrity?
Of course anyone with a brain would know he will beat him now that the fight is over with. Like coming off 4 years lay-off with serious injuries means nothing all of a sudden, why?, because his performance is available on Youtube. I admit I thought Peter will pull it off simply based on those facts and I know many others shared the same prediction I did.
Hoffman is a fight after his surgery/injury, Norris is also a stay-active fight, Bean and Donald were very good opponents, especially Donald. Purrity beat his younger brother and he had the right to fight him for that reason. Who came after those?, Lewis, who did he want after Lewis?, Lewis again.
No because i picked Vitali by stoppage so the outcome doesn't shock me, Vitali is frustrating because his talent is clear but the majority of his career has been wasted fighting lesser competition in one sided fights and not being fully tested.
Compared to other ATG's Roy's "19 former or current champions" means crap. There are so many trinket belts out there just about anyone is a "champion" of something these days. :smoke
He was on his way to accomplish that if it wasn't for his injury, as far as I remember he was set to fight Rahman only 4 months after the Williams fight with Toney and many others, can't really blame him for getting injured and only one that hates him will blame him for an injury he couldn't do anything about.
...which is why I specified that the total includes WBA, WBC and IBF ONLY. Who was talking about "other ATG's" anyway? Why are you obsessing over Roy in comparison with other ATG's in a Vitali thread? :think
Your thread yesterday was the funniest thing I've ever read detective! You better shut up or I'll post a link and embarrass you again!!
