I still can't see him doing anything other than getting dominated.

I would love for him to knock Vitali out though.

 

How can he get himself in that sort of shape when he has asthma?

 

It does look like he has taken this fight very serious I hope it is a good scrap.

Boxing is not a bodybuilding competition unfortunately if Briggs has any chance of winning he is going to have to bomb Klitschko out in the first 2 rounds because after that he will get methodically jabbed and right handed to death until he gets KOed.

Vitali is very hard to hit but Briggs does have good handspeed for a few rounds

All props to Briggs, FINALLY a HW contender taking his training serious (taken how pudgy he was in his 4 fights since coming back).

There isn't bad blood between the two, but sure the press conferences are quite funny, Briggs always trying to steal or polishing the belt in a funny way

Hes in shape by his standards but hes not going to last 12 rounds in the shape hes in. Honestly I think James Toney is a better athlete than Shannon Briggs, Shannon just somehow convinced you all that hes in shape, wait until you see how fast he gasses out carrying all that excess muscle in the wrong areas.

 

just went to boxrec to see who briggs has been fighting lately. it says briggs tested for illegal substance against marcus mcgee, does anyone know what that's about?

it wasn't announced as far as I know, his manager just said that it had to do with his "asthma medication" (yeah, right). He just got the ususal bull**** suspension of 90 days. In other sports if you get caught, you are suspended for 2 years minimum, in boxing you get away with a few weeks which doen't matter anway if you are only fighting 2-3 times a year.
