Vitali vs Briggs. I first said before the fight started that it would end before the 6th round, I was wrong. Yes, Briggs is older, but, he stayed in there. Just sayin props to Briggs. He got his last payday. Vitali is older as well. I thought it was a good fight for vitali, and Briggs showed he wasn't going to give up. Think the fight should have been stopped.

    My question is:

Do you think Haye can beat Briggs? Does Haye have what Vitali may not? I don't think Haye beats Briggs. Just asking for your thoughts.

    Peace

Haye would likely win against Briggs, but he'd be very defensive and elusive in the first 6-7 rounds as he doesn't want to get tagged by Briggs big right hand.

He'd try open up later and try to take out Briggs late but probably run into stamina problems himself. Haye has a terrible work rate and boxes in spurts. Not sure if its enough to take out this HGH enhanced version of Briggs. Vitali threw the kitchen sink at him with a much higher work rate and he didn't go down.

Briggs has a chance to beat Haye with some hard punches, but not a significant one. Briggs seems to have lost that KO1 power, Vitaly was not hit much at all.

I don't think vitali threw more punches than Haye would and I don't think he hits harder than Haye. Therefore Haye would have made a better showing vs Briggs.

The Briggs that fought Vitali would knock the coward Haye out. Haye would run like Hell like hte did against Valouev. Haye did not bother to throw any punches because he know the judges were on his side. Haye is a fraud.

I really think people underestimate Haye.

Off course! Haye can beat Briggs. No doubt about it. Briggs is too old to beat Haye. Besides, Haye is faster than him. It will be another mismatch.

Lol **** off. Haye threw what 3 punches per round vs Valuev?

Everyone knows Haye has stamina problems, when was the last time you saw him throw over 500 punches per fight let alone big V's 1000 odd?

Haye might win but he would not throw more punches than Vitali.
When is the last time Haye threw 60+ punches a round.

Yes, Haye would beat Briggs. Whilst he showed a tremendous amount of heart he was still fighting in treacle, how a low output and had done next to nothing since coming back after Ibragimov beat him.

Anyone that truly believe Haye has more power than Vitali is truly ******ed. This bum was being KO'ed at cruiserweight.

    Please log off. :blood

He was stopped on his feet for a start, and against a pretty tough fighter to boot. Perhaps we'll now say that VITLAY is a bum as he was beaten by Pele Reid in his Kickboxing days?

It's true that Haye's workrate isn't very good but that wouldn't be much of a problem vs. the 38 year old shot version of Briggs that we saw a week ago because Briggs' workrate is much worse than even Haye's.
