    Is this true? Was this right around the time when vitali mysteriousely pulled out of the fight and retired with only a few days to go?

    Not shocking, Walker hits like a mule even though he's a crappy boxer. Doesn't mean he'd have a prayer in a real match.

    It's true. I forget which one, but there were two sparring partners that decked Vitali during training camp for his up-coming match against Rahman in late 05. One dropped him with a body shot, the other blasted him in the chin. Rapheal something was his name, and on the way down he messed his knee up and was forced to pull out of the Rahman fight because of it.

    I seriously doubt it's true but even if it is, so what? Sparring is just that, practice. You try things in sparring that you wouldn't necessarily do in the actual fight because it's only practice.

    Thats him. I read it a few years back on the site that talks about boxing. Anyone that wants to know the complete details of it should plug into google search engine " Fighters that knocked down Vitali in sparring", you will see a few things on it you can click on to get info about it.
