    Most of you havent read the opening post, you skim, you assume, you make stupid conclusions.

    You could put anyone in that situation...Pac, Mayweather, J. Toney (oops he did do that), A. Khan, Kessler, Gamboa, (Ali oops he did do that), ..

    For me there are two fights out there for Vitali: David Haye and Audley Harrison.

    I'd prefer 3 contenders of the type you mentioned as well. Sothese two fights, as well as a more routine contest in January, June and December.

    With the poor quality in this division it's not a big ask, but I understand the boxing business doesn't work like this anymore, they are just my ideals when judging a fighters class.

    Well the other situation i mentioned-


    March - D. Haye

    Oct - R. Helenius


    Is more likely as of course Vitali is looking to finish now, and boxing culture now allows this to be considered active.

    Again its good to see that serious reactions are that of preference to two serious opponents in one year to say 3 ok guys and 3 very slim chance guys.


    A case study of Vitali again -

    He got away with it in 2010 fighting Sosnowski outside top 20 and Briggs way way past it...made amends for fighting two legit 10 in 2011 with Solis and Adamek.

    Haye did the same fought Harrison outside the top 20.


    The situation is interesting because people dont want champions fighting outside top 20 opponents, which happens and is happening but ridicule a scenario where this happens along with more serious fighters.


    Ok so what would everyone prefer?


    My view would be 3 top class fighters a year, in between outside top 20 guys.

    6 would be my magic number of course barring injury etc.

    Is it because what I said was totally out there? Stupid? Crazy? Im not sure...or because you think it would not happen?

    What if Vitali and Wlad each had a gastric band fitted (on the NHS) thereby magically dropping weight to the 220lb range.

    Would the loss of weight create more opportunities for cruiserweights to step up and challenge for the Heavyweight titles?























    Or we could chop off one of their legs......
