    Johnson was disgraceful.

Vitali did what he could do, you can only fight whats in front of you.. and Johnson was just not there to win, just to get a pay check and avoid punishment.

And to all you American apologetic piece of scumbag inbreds saying Vitali needed the knockout are completely out of your god damn minds. Johnson was to Vitali what Smith was to Tyson.

And this is the average American heavyweight today, what a disgrace.

The argument that he needed the KO could be valid but that would only be valid if Johnson came to fight.

Many of the Greatest HW's of all time are Yanks.

Johnson would still beat most HW's out there. He didn't try to win and yes that was disgraceful.

This guy would probably have gone 12 rounds with anyone in the division fighting like that, although I think Wladimir's speed and power could have closed the show at some point in the night. I'd compare that fight to the Ibragimov fight, except that was more a clash of styles and at least Iggy was looking for the counter punch oppurtunity that Wlad didn't give him

Big difference was that Ibragimov was constantly on the move. Johnson was there, right in front of him, he should have unloaded some more imo.

He wanted to fight Wladimir when the final bell rang. He almost took a swing at him, luckily he didnt, a punch from Wladimir barefist would not be good for him.

Johnson didnt fight. AT All. He didnt even bother throwing punches, his output was in each round was in the single digits for gods sake. He spent the entire fight in a defensive shelll going backwards as much as possible

What the **** are you supposed to do? Vitali spent every round coming at him, Johnson did NOTHING

Unfortunate for Vitali that so many are going to critique his performance. Johnson made it a horrible fight.

It takes two fighters to make a fight.

Vitali tried to save energy so that he didnt gas but he miscalculated his energy level and still had energy in the 12th. Could have tried to take him out earlier.

Agree 100%. Horrible fight but not Vitalis fault. Probably the worst fight I have ever seen.

We would have been better off if the whole thing was the other way round. Wladimir stops Johnson based on his speed and power, then KJ pushes Vitali after the fight and gets pumelled

I don't agree, it's hard to fight against somebody who does everything just to survive....

While you are right Johnson spoiled the fight by not fighting back, he was there to be hit. Vitali should have found a way. I am sure Wlad would have picked him apart.
