Vitali does not have to fight Maskaev, clears way for Haye in September

Saw it on the beeb too. Vitali's talking this fight up big time now. It's a shitter that Haye gotta fight the harder one first though. I was fairly confident he'd beat Wlad but I'm not too confident he'll beat Vitali.

 

Excellent news, hopefully they can do a deal quickly and give us something to look forward to again.

 

Vitali is old and ****ed...Haye is mobile, the wheels could come off badly for the Ukranian in this fight if Haye is able to apply constant pressure.

 

Haye can win this easily. People rate Vitali far too highly. He is old and looked so against Gomez.

I felt his chances were always going to be better against Vitali when he started talking about fighting one of the Klitschko's. Wlad is at his peak right now so is very dangerous. Vitali must be pushing 40 now and was never very mobile anyway. 4 years of inactivity will show against a fighter that can move and punch.

 

Good stuff. I never really fancied his chances against Vitali but he's pushing on now and didn't look great against Gomez.
