Haters just don't (or don't want to) understand that. I've (and probably most EVERYONE else on this board) told people to "shut up", or probably worse in the heat of the moment....that doesn't mean that we don't get along well. I've told my own brother to "shut up" several times, lol. We still get along very well. It's just as you say, a "heat of the moment" thing.
Yeah, I've checked the article now. I assume you refer to this sentence: "More recently, Vitali told Steward to “shut up” when the trainer was badgering his brother in the corner during his victory over Eddie Chambers." I cannot find proof that Vitali ever said that. I've watched the fight a couple of times now and I never heard him saying that. As long as no one presents video evidence, I'll assume it's just internet bull****. Or can you confirm it, CHEF? Vitali says in the documentary that once he watched his brother sparring awfully. Still Manny flattered Wladimir and Vitali disagreed and said "No that wasn't beautiful, that was awful." Since then, he isn't allowed into Wlad's camp anymore. That's all. I do not remember Vitali saying he dislikes Manny or that he's incompetent, on the contrary, he praises him.
Emanuel Steward was the only !!! man who helped his brother after his losses. Steward did great work with Wlad. And this is what counts, Wlad and Steward are a great team.
Wlad was right to change his trainer. Sdunek ruins Wlad and i never could understand why Vitali stayed with Sdunek who poisened Wlad in the first Brewster fight.
Vitali's just the over emotional, protective brother with anger problems. ...kidding...behind closed doors, who knows how they get along. I'm sure they're fine.
But it does not matter. Steward is Wlad´s trainer not Vitali´s. IMO it is much better for Wlad to have his own coach who cares about Wlad´s career. Only about Wlad´s career. To fire Sdunek was the best thing Wlad did in his boxing career. Late but not too late.
That pretty much ends the thread since you're without a doubt the most qualified poster to address this topic.
Ive never heard about Vitali telling steward to "shut up" That doesnt sound like Vitali... maybe telling Steward to "relax" but they have a great relationship... they call each other all the time...... someone is trying to make something out of nothing
I don´t know. It is my opinion about Sdunek but i never will understand why Vitali stayed with Sdunek. Wlad was send to the hospital and his life was in trouble. At the same time Sdunek was sitting in an interview for german TV with a big smile on his face because Wlad lost. And after watching this interview i would have fired this man. If he was guilty or not. It was Vitalis little brother who was taken to the hospital and his life was in danger. I will never understand it. You have to ask Vitali why he did not protect his brother at fight night and let Sdunek in the corner.
Maybe. Sdunek fired Steward two days later in german TV. One day later Wlad said, i will stay with Steward. So it was obvious that Sdunek does not want Steward in Wlad´s corner. But Wlad did the right thing, he fires Sdunek and the Brewster 1 fight was the last fight with Sdunek in his corner.
Maybe the posiion was planted earlier in food and takes time to kick in ? But evil Fritz was doing evil laugh on tv so maybe he was the leader, cant trust anyone !!
