What? Second coming of Ali, wtf are you talking about? Anyone with a brain can acknowledge Bowes natural talent, but second coming of ali he was not.:-(

Figure of speech? You're the one that harps on about how great Bowe was in the classic forum...

Lennox was one of the ATG H/W's and vitali was not his most formidable opponent by a long way, this is the worst the division has been in years. Lewis was the last man standing of an era of great heavyweights and unfortunately noones stepped up to the plate, aside from haye i cant see anyone to challenge the klitchko's and its certainly not because the klitchko's are great heavyweights theyre simply the best of a bad bunch

He was great, for a very very short period of time. :D Ill admit I liked Bowe a lot, he showed a lot of potential that he never lived up to, but it was there.
The heavyweight division is really really bad right now, but I do like Vitali, I think he could have hung in there in the 90s with the best of them, but I dont think he would have been as dominant as he is in this current era.

I think if these people want to think that Vitali's career after losing to Lennox in his very last fight doesn't add to LL's legacy they aren't being honest with themselves. It doesn't matter if they think the division is so poor. People say that every time the competitive fights die down. The fact that Lennox beat a high caliber monster after coming in under-trained and at his age is quite an accomplishment and Vitali has only bolstered that thought in the aftermath.

Lennox already proved his greatness long before the Vitali fight. I dont think the Vitali did much for him. If anything it bolstered Vitali's career more than anything because so many people tend to look at that fight as a win for Vitali for some strange reason??
To me it just reflects on how bad the division is currently, because like you said, Lennox was old, and somewhat under prepared for Vitali, yet he was still able to break Vitali down in six rounds. Id also add thats its pretty easy to come to the conclusion the current crop of heavies is pretty poor.

Somewhat but let's not exaggerate: it was a fluky win where Lewis didn't show he had better boxing skills.

Well I never recall anyone saying Vit won but then again I stay out of vits threads in fear of them being anything like Pacs. I agree Lennox Career and Legacy was already Sealed Before Vit and he did come in poor shape to Fight Vit He never done this Before so It looks like he Had 1 foot out of the ring already and old as any old school fighter. Vit came in looking awesome.

At the Time Vit did nothing for him and his Legacy but Im starting to feel as Vit dominates this bad divsion its making Lennox Look Better and Better or at the Very least Refreshing his Name Making him impossible to forget as the Last Man to beat Vitali and from the looks if it the Last man that ever will unless a Tyson, Ali type fighter emerges.
