Well I wouldnt say Vitali is ducking him but its a bit odd that the fight seemed pretty much done and dusted and now Vitali is choosing to fight Gomez. I call bull**** on the WBC stripping Vitali thing, after keeping him as emeritus for years they wouldnt strip him because of a delayed mandatory. Hasnt Joe Suliman called a meeting with big boxing promoters to sort out why the big fights are not happening ? Haye vs Vitali is the biggest fight in the HW division along with Wlad vs Haye.

So no I dont think Vitali has ducked Haye at all.

Wlad on the other hand....I think he's scared shitless.

    Vitali ain't ducking anybody.

The WBC are insisting on a mandatory and it's probably better for Haye.
Haye should be looking for another fight in the meantime, keep active and get some more experience then fight Vitali for the Title in the summer all going well.

I think this could be a blessing for Haye as jumping straight into a fight with Vitali with no preparation seem's a little reckless considering he's only had 6 rounds in the Heavyweight division.

Ain't he been down in his old kickboxing days? I've been told so many differant strories about how he's been sparked etc although the most common I've come across was that it was infact a Leg kick and he couldn't continue. Either way there is still that 'if' about it if anyone knows?

I don't think Vitali Klitschko is ducking anybody, I think he believes that he can beat everybody. Considering the weakness of the division, there is some merit in that view.

Vitali does not duck anyone. This is all about the WBC, not Vitali.

May be good in the long run, so he can get it on with Wlad first instead of Arreola an after disposing of him he can have the Vitali fight.
Even if one of the Klitschko's sneezed they would wipe out Arreola...he's not worth a shot

From Hayes point of view,if both men fight before they fight each other, either one of them could lose.Unlikely but this is boxing. That would scupper this fight surely so its very odd that Vitali seems to be fighting a mandatory after all thats happened recently.
What fight is there for Haye as a tune-up?Theres not too many options going plus haye was talking about 6 months preparation so doesn't leave much time for a tune-up if this fight is still going to happen in the summer

Wlad wants nothing to do with Haye. The only way i see this fight happening is if Vitali beats him first

Maybe some truth in that but I was under the impression that he was happy to abandon the WBC in favour of this fight

i have a question: why is the fight vs. haye in june set in stone? can't haye wait until september (to give vitali some preperation time after the gomez fight) and fight somebody who is actually in the top 5 in the meantime?
shouldn't a contender be a bit more active - something like climbing in the rankings step by step instead of getting a shot right away?

Don't forget that this forum has a sizeable faction of 12 year olds who jump all over rediculous reasons to start the ducking nonsense.

I can't believe some of the members on this forum are allowed to stay up past 8 00 PM.

When Vitali was planning to fight Haye, Wlad was afraid of him. Now its vice versa.

Why don't they just play it safe, and say Fritz Sdunek is ducking Haye, cause he has not said ANYthing about fighting him. Fritz is scared s**tless of Haye, if you ask me.
