I've just read that ESPN will be showing the Vitali Klitschko vs Juan Carlos Gomez fight live in the USA. I was thinking that we should also be allowed to watch this fight live and maybe should start spamming the ESPN Australia email to see if they will put it on?
Who gives a sh*t? I've got better things to do with my time then watch a scared fighter dance around Klit trying to survive, whilst klit lumbers after him awkwardly. This fight will be an absolute stinker. Expect Gomez to run all night, and get stopped off something extremely weak in the latter rounds. If we are going to get heavyweight fights in aus, why not something decent...
I agree with Jambo that it doesnt look like it will be an exciting fight but if it was free I'd certainly be watching it.
I actually do not mind this fight, lets see how Vitali does against someone who is not a punching bag, after his layoff.
I think this will turn out to be a good, both have done plenty of sparring together so there won't be much respect shown. Vitali will make Gomez fight and it won't be one way traffic either. I'm looking forward to it.
gomez can certainly fight, and has some things that will give trouble to vitali, but in all honesty vitali is an absolute animal to fight, great power, great chin, and has great reach which is used very well, never been outmuscled or outboxed in the ring i dont think gomez is the one to do it...
