Ya by cuts. Quarry had a iron chin -- probably the best out of the 70's fighters.

If Vitali is the greatest puncher of the HW division, then Lewis has one of the best chins ever. Because Vitali hit him with everything but the kitchen sink.. and lewis was under-trained and still managed to tare his face up.

So I guess Rahman and McCall are just like the G.O.A.T punching power, because they did what Vitali couldn't even come close to. Lol Lewis ate up Vitali shots lol and didn't even get KD. He ate that **** up, with his suspect chin.

Julius Long doesn't have a style that makes the best use of his size. It's not rocket science dude.
Besides, Vitali IS a better boxer than Julius Long. I never said he was a bad boxer. He's a good boxer, just not a great one.

Do you believe Valuev is a great boxer?
He's better than the Julius Longs and Tye Fields of this world for sure, but does he win purely because of his boxing talent, or a combination of his average skills with the very effective use of his size?

Also, winning rounds and knocking guys out has as much to do with the quality of the opponents as boxing skill. I notice you glossed over my point about Vitali's opposition level for the majority of his career.

Speaking of which... Peter is a clubfighter now? You just took away one of Vitali's biggest wins.

Thanks for strengthening my argument champ! :good

Evidence is the last thing a Vitali fan should be talking about. His entire myth is based on what his fanboys think he "coulda shoulda woulda" done, not what he actually did.

Anyway... are you sure you want to be hitching the Vitali bandwagon to Jose Sulaiman?
I thought you Vitalickers claimed Don King was the devil and the sole reason why Vitali never unified. Now you think his boyfriend is some kind of boxing guru?

Nice lack of knowledge. Didn't Ali stop him on cuts? TKO's don't always explain punching power.

Drexler is a know hater and not very good when it comes to talking about boxing. Yes, I think he need to reply how come Long was creamed by club-fighters and he was 7 feet tall?

Vitali's KOs are far away from a myth. They are quite real.

    Check this part out
"...Jose Sulaiman, president of our organization, stated today that Klitschko is the pride the WBC as well as he is the pride of world boxing..."

VITALI is definately a P4P fighter.

I really think he is an outstanding champion.

He utilizes height and reach better than most.

I think only a prime Lewis beats him from past 20 years.

WOuld have loved to see Vitali vs Riddick Bowe

You are a bit slow on the draw there champ..... I have already blown that argument out of the water.
    :patsch

Oh, and thanks for joining in on supporting my argument that Vitali's KO record is mainly due to a weak resume -- you just backed up bennyj's claim that one of his "biggest" wins was actually against a club fighter, therefore not that big at all.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    This is too easy.

Are you suggesting that Shavers wasn't a big puncher?
