    h2h...yeah, maybe.

Prime Vitali vs. prime Foreman would have been an absolute beast of a match up.

No. More like JMM maybe - lost a close decision to Pac and PBF UD him. Aside from that (and one weaker day vs Chris John) ... you know...

In that fight yes, Lewis was lucky that a grazing blow opened up a cut.

I think that Lewis retired because he didn't fancy Vitali again. So? Lewis new what we all new, he was slipping. He didn't feel like taking on the best fighter of a new generation for a second time whilst past peak. People act like there is some shame in that, or like Vitali ran him out of town. But there is only one winner of their original fight and it's only controversial on here because Klit fans insist it is. Beating your opponents face until it looks like raw hamburger is very straightforwards and normal way to win a fight.

Lewis was lucky a grazing shot and the following head collision opened that horrific cut. However, he was 38, you cannot ignore that. Prime Lennox is some 60:40 favourite vs. prime Vitali, maybe better. But there are not many fighters you would say are better than Lennox H2H. It's a joke to put all those plodding stiffs of the pre-Ali era over the well known big names of the 70s to 90s, just because they were well known names of their time. Most of those names would be 50:50 vs. '99 Vitali at best.

Well, there you have it. 10 heavyweights ahead of Vitali on the ATG list...so to answer your question...NO.

My bad...I misunderstood your post...are you asking how Vitali would fare against the top 10 ATG heavies, or are you asking IF he is a top 10 ATG heavyweight?
