An article on a Ukrainian TV channel's website.
    That's it.

Good by, CHAMPION, you will be greatly missed but leaving on top is a wise decision.

I'm all for the best fighters being the world champions, and win by any means.

I think that heavyweight boxing needs new fresh blood, I do think that Vitali stepping away will inevitably be good for heavyweight boxing.

Wlad and Vitali are GREAT boxers who use their style to the best of their abilities, and with experience, have gone head and shoulders above every other HW around. But, to be fair.. no average fans wants to see them fight, because its boring.

    Heavyweight fights should be entertaining.

Vitali stepping away just means that Wlad wins the WBC belt and we have our first undisputed Champion since Lennox Lewis.

I hope it's true but I know for a fact it isn't, there isn't anybody right now beating him, might as well retire instead of going on until age catches up to you (it almost has already).

Vitali won't say it's 100% any time soon because he wants to keep his options open, but Kiev mayoral election is likely to take place in July, and he's running for it.

Did Lewis held all 4 major titles at the same time?

Yep. A Klit retiring can only be a good thing for the division.

This would be the right answer. It is time given all of his circumstances.

A few years ago he would have opened a serious can of whoop ass on Chisora. Whilst last weekend he was on the backfoot and looking all over the place against at best a good domestic fighter. He should retire now before idiots start questioning his legacy when he gets pushed or looses against a b class fighter

He has definitely lost a step or two, but he's still good enough to handle the rest of the division outside of his brother. I hope he does retire before he really starts to slip.
