He has a very good chin, but he also gets hit very little.. so I would not say best ever or something like that.

He has a very good chin like many others (Marciano, Evander, and so on and on..)

Thanks, I nicked it from the G$ora-Haye Posters topic. :good

Anyway, I just want to say Vitali has a superb Iron Chin, however it's extremely exaggerated when his fanboys pretend it's indestructible. The fact is, he consistently controls range fantastically with his long pawing jab, & has very good unorthodox leaning headmovement to make opponents miss & not land clean. For all the punchers Vitali has faced, they rarely land properly. Sam Peter, Arreola & Briggs landed nothing significant. That leaves Lewis, Sanders, & G$ora. Well contrary to Vitali fanboy nonsense, Lewis actually rocked & stunned VK several times. Sanders severely rocked & staggered him in the 2nd round before gassing badly from being in awful shape. Finally, when G$ora landed big in round 12, Vitali was stunned & clinched excessively to stop any follow-up attack. Conclusion; Great Chin indeed, but even greater defensive ability of not getting hit flush by bombs in the first place.

Not at all R. But saying it's the greatest feat of fortitude shown in a chin is exaggarating don't you think? Vitali as an excellent chin btw.

    :good Nice post Kally.

Vitali got hit a lot less than Holyfield, yet still received more injuries.

He turns into a wobbly, drunken, giraffe on an uppercut where Lewis is going backwards...

Against Sanders he was knocked to the floor like a ragdoll off of one half-ass punch. That chin is mediocre at best.

Thats the highlight of Vitalis career.

I took a punch from lennox and stayed on my feet and lost the fight, Frank Bruno also has a similar feat and like Vitali he too won the WBC title.

  14. In actual fact bruno was doing better than vitali did in his fight with lewis, bruno was also also winning on the judges score cards ....hurt lewis more..much more,And lewis was in the PRIM & SHAPE of his life.....also nearly 10 yrs younger...So by KLIT fangirls knowledge BRUNO AS HE WAS WINNING IS BETTER THAN LEWIS:patsch:patsch
