The Medrol is a steroid and does reduce inflammation in a similar way to the synthetic testosterone. I agree that he has and likely will continue to use these roids under doctors supervision to recover from gym/ring related injuries.:deal
He didn't lie....he was pressured by his team to TRY to pass the test. He knew he would fail as he had just cycled off the drug, and YES, in the manner of reducing inflammation, it DOES enhance performance by allowing athletes a faster recovery time and longer workouts.
It was a super advanced cortisone, not just the anti-itch **** we buy as drugmart or walgreens. And it does enhance performance by allowing athlete to recover from injury faster and when used in conjunction with aminoacids, it can build muscle faster by allowing the athlete longer more intense workouts, while aiding his breathing as well. Vitali has ALWAYS had chronic sinusitis and has probably always either sucked wind through his mouth or used corticosteroids soas he can breathe during roadwork, sparring, and having to cut them off in time to test for a fight. Unfortunately, his time to cycle off was not long enough to pass the OSDT in 96 as we all know.
its a unfortunate for Klitschko fans that Vitalis PEDS could not increase the durability of his facial skin
Was there Olympic quality drug testing for any of Vitali's recent bouts? Is Chisora's team demanding it?
Very interesting. Never knew the details of this incident. Thanks for sheding some light on things. Won't change anything with some of the guys though.
I know its hilarious. Vitali hit a Brittard Bingo. And retired all of them twats. DelusionalBoy next.
