David Haye is coming off a loss to Wlad. He needs to fight a fellow contender before he fights Vitali.

David Haye is fighting Dereck Chisora next? He is obviously ducking Vitali.

Look at Wlad,he's so sick of hearing about Haye.

Vitali makes some good points here. Smart guy no doubt.

Those days are over, Haye got everyone back on his side after that amazing performance. That was the most exciting fight in the division, in yrs.

Vitali is a ****ing euro-bum. Ducking the only potential contender in the division is pathetic.

His career is worth **** now.

Based on all the news that circulated around, it sounds like both parts agreed verbally on the financial part of the deal late 2011, but soon after Vitali regreted it and took it out of the table, then went back to offering a lower offer to Haye which was openly denied the whole time. My guess is Vitali is offering a 20-25% split to Haye.

The Chisora opportunity came for similar money but much easier challenge and Haye took it, also expecting to raise his value in the Klitschko table.

There is still a possibility for this fight but the financial misunderstanding will continue. Haye should look for Povetkin and Adamek as well, both big money options and easier to make.

Just a sketch on the possible gross revenue numbers for each fight(tv money + gate + sponsors), IMO these numbers are close to reality.
Vitali vs Haye = 20 million - 30% Haye cut means 6 million
Povetkin vs Haye = 10 million - 50% Haye cut means 5 million
Adamek vs Haye = 10 million - 55% Haye cut means 5,5 million

Haye would get at least 60 against Povetkin, and 55 sounds about right against Adamek, who is a good draw by himself like Haye.

Povetkin doesn't really bring much at all to the table aside from his "regular WBA" belt, which is ****, when Haye just lost the REAL WBA title to Wlad.

You keep discussing who is ducking who, in reality no one is ducking, the only problem is egos and the money they will share. At this point the Haye/Vitali fight will generate big money and interest and they both know it. It may be win or loose last fight for Vitali and Haye (Haye would want a rematch with Wlad). They want to cash out.
