Long ago but I personaly think without the cut Vitali would have won. Would have could have should have, fact is that the fight was stopped because of the cut, weather it was due to punches or due to an headbut.

But I really would like to have seen a rematch to get business finished. ...just like Abraham - Miranda... But obviously Lewis didn´t want that...

 

Vitali "could have, should have, would have" beaten Lewis if not for his eye almost falling out.

Quitali "could have, should have, would have" beaten Byrd if he didn't quit.

Brittley "could have, should have, would have" beaten Rahman if he didn't pull out 4 straight times.

He also "could have, should have, would have" won a medal in the Olympics if he didn't get caught juicing, "could have, should have, would have" beaten McCline if he didn't pull out of a 5th straight fight date, and "could have, should have, would have" won the election but the polls were rigged.

Quitali is unbeatable in "could have, should have, would have" situations.

Poor deluded man. I always liked Vitaly, and thought he did the right thing in the Byrd fight. But Lewis was something special, and he ought to just acknowledge that he is a very good fighter who lost to a great champ.

1. The punch that started the cut around the eye was from a legit punch that grazed Vitali's left eyebrow area. The other cuts & the severity of the first cut were all from punches.

2. Everyone, except Lennox, wanted a rematch. That does speak volumes to me. If they did rematch I believe Vitali would've been the 3rd to KO Lewis.

Vitali did not lose the fight clearly.....................he lost by TKO on cuts. Let's not make like Lewis was smacking VK around the ring or anything.
