Lennox retired at 38... Can he continue like this even in his 40's ? (like Hopkins) , based on his performance tonight , would you say that he still has a bunch of good fights in him left ?

at 6 foot 8 and 250 pounds....he can fight as long as he wants.....especially if theres no real threat to beat him....other than haye who has a slim chance, theres an even slimmer chance haye will get in the ring with him

I don't think he can before 2012, if he retires in 2011 Haye will say he ran him out of the sport...

The way the division is, he could retire at 49 undefeated.

The big guy was absolutely awesome tonight. He slaughtered a very powerful and experienced foe in Shannon Briggs. His defense is getting better as he ages and he still has a great offense; he is still very quick and should destroy the competition, such as it is, for a few years at least. He may simply retire to allow his younger brother to be the dominant man at heavyweight but Vitali is just the best. A complete monster and as much as I like Wlad, he would lose to Vitali.

I thought he was slowing but he looked good last night, albeit against a massive punchbag. Briggs showed tremendous heart but we all knew he's been fighting in quicksand for years now. Not taking anything away from VITLAY but the fight was what it was. He could probably go on for a few fights longer provided his body can hold up through training camps, but the question is who does he fight?

Your avatar indicates you are a Haye man. Perhaps Haye should just get his backside into the ring with Vitali. But, I believe Haye is a coward and will not fight the ageing Vitali because he saw this night, in Vitali, a true gladiator, a man of war who backs down to no man and wipes out all competition, even the muscular giant Shannon Briggs. Haye will never face Vitali.

Not any time soon. He has said that he feels great, and will fight on. He is in negotiation with Adamek, has a mandatory coming up, and would love to get Valuev and Haye in the ring.

Yes, I am a Haye fan and not just a fairweather one. Yes, I believe he should fight a Klitschko. Yes I am pissed off he is fighting Harrison after all his talk. Will I still watch Haye, yes of course. :deal

It amuses me that I can post about pretty much anything but due to the avatar someone always comes along and types "yeah, but Haye will never fight VITLAY". This is why I asked the question who does he fight. If Haye does fight a Klitschko it will probably be WALDO.

Ilesey: I may cook Jamie Oliver's famous 'gasman stew' for my wife this afternoon. It's a nice autumnal dish. Hmmm, a nice cider to wash it all down and then I'll watch Columbo on ITV and probably have a nice little power nap. Lovely.

Random poster: You have a Haye avatar. Haye will never fight a Klitschko, he bitched out of the fights already. He will lose to Harrison. He is a joke and a fraud. I hate him and therefore I hate you.

Ilesey: Hmm, thanks for that. So you think I should have wine instead of cider?

Random poster: The Klitschko brothers keep winning. Haye is scared, he will never fight a Klitschko.

Ilesey: Random poster is on your ignore list. :hi:
