Do you cry into your pillow each night, knowing that Vitali is so successful? I believe you do. That is a happy thought.
Here's what Audley did for 9 rounds with a serious shoulder injury (or 'Fraudley' as Klit fans often call him): "The first round was a good round for me. My Jab was much improved and I controlled the round. I was sure I could blast him out within 4 rounds. In the second round, I felt searing pain in my right Pec / shoulder as I tried to throw a hook. Michael came under and got under my shot, jerking back my arm. I went back to the corner and tried to whisper in Thell’s ear, but the camera was close as was the official. I was unable to make him hear me, so I decided not to surrender and adjusted my game plan to get victory. Michael fought a great fight, staying low and tight. I had to start switching stance, as I could no longer use my right arm from the 3rd round. I could only hold it out and even that was painful. I knew Michael hadn’t picked up on my injury, so I had to focus on not giving him any clues. I knew winning on points was not possible; I could not win rounds with one arm. I stayed focused and kept on switching stance trying to find a clean shot. Michael didn’t give me much and was landing clean shots himself. Amateur or professional, I have never fought orthodox. (Clear indication Jim Watt & Ian Darke something was up) I was not defensively aware in the orthodox stance and had no option but to ride his shots as best as I could. I was always trying to stay in range to land a hook or uppercut, but Michael was wise to it. As the fight progressed, my orthodox Jab was finding the target, but I was unable to build off it. I never lost hope and just needed Michael to stand up tall, so I could set him up. Before the 11th round, I looked across at Michael and saw what I needed to see. ‘He was surprised that I was still there’. Thell, Kelvyn and Harry were all telling me ‘its now or never’ ‘all or nothing’ I felt calm and clear headed and went out knowing I needed to find that shot. (He did, by the way)
Here's Haye (or 'Gaye' as Klit fans often call him) showing the broken hand he got in the 2nd round against Valuev. 10 rounds with a broken hand. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3fsXZLwjx0[/ame]
By the way, Audley suffered a total rupture of his pectoral in the Sprott fight.....it required major surgery and 4 months of rehab. But because he refused to quit in the fight and found a way to win, it earned him the biggest payday of his career.
I actually find it amazing Vitali fans are unable to come in here and answer the questions. Instead they evade the questions and resort to abusing the thread starter. Why can't you just answer the questions legitimately without taking them as a personal insult? It's not hard. I'm actually interested to know the answers. Here's an example to help you. You could say - "I am a fan of Vitali regardless of his proven steroid use because, although I don't condone drug use, he was a young amateur, served his punishment and I think people deserve a second chance" or "I am a fan of Vitali despite him quitting because, although many fighters have fought tougher opposition with more severe injuries, he felt in too much pain to continue and i'm not the kind of person to stop liking a fighter just because they may have weaknesses" But no, that would be too mature wouldn't it. It's far better to come on here, insult thd threadstarter and bring up irrelevant fighters like David Haye for no reason.
1. This thread was obviously posted to insult the Klitschkos (quite common on ESB) so I really can understand the negative reactions to the thread starter. You know that too Schaunster. 2. To answer the questions: I am a fan of Vitali. He was medicated with Nandrolon (because of an injury) he couldn´t participate at olympia. In retrospective the choice of medication wasn´t the most clever one. ...BUT neither brother was ever tested positive on steroids in their professional career. btw both brothers and K2 are supporting regular doping tests. Quitting in the Byrd fight was because of an injury. That might not be the most popular explanation but a legit one besides the fact that he was winning the fight. So in my book calling Vitali Klitschko a steroid abuser and/or a quitter is not only wrong but disgracefull.
So if a Doctor gives you Nandrolon because of an injury you are a steroid abuser and a cheat? And every boxer that quits a fight because of an injury is a quitter? If that is your logic then yes :huh
