Vitali is better than wlad!

Its a shame they weren't created as one person, imagine the traits. Wlads technical ability and power with Vitali's height, aggression and iron chin. ATG stuff right there. :yep

 

No way....Wladimir Klitschko is defintley better than his brother and he knows it. Vitalis defense is his hands by his waist, wlad has a high gaurd defense with excellent clinching skills, wlad has much more one punch power in each fist, and wlad is the better combination puncher, wlad has the much better jab, his boxing skills are alot more polished than vitalis, and wlads tougher than vitali. wlad is an amazing fighter.

 

I didnt see wlad quit on his stool with 2 rounds to go vs a light-heavyweight

 

Wlads toughter than Vitali? Where the feck do you pull that from? Wlad's a much more polished fighter but his chin is always going to be a huge detractor. Vitali also had quite good defence in his prime despite having no guard, his evasive tactics were subtle but very skillfull.

Wlads built better and has more power but he lacks the killer instinct or chin to really apply it as effectively as it should be.

 

vitali quit on his stool vs a feather fisted lightheavyweight with 2 rounds to go, wlad never did that. wlad has never quit on his stool. wlad is tough.

 

And WHY was it that he quit??

 

vitali is tougher, more of a fighter instinct. Wlad is more polished but doesnt react like a fighter when in trouble. he flails and acts like a ***. Vitali gets mad when hit and wants to fight.

Go Vitali, boo Wladimir.

 

Wlad has a more classic boxing style. I wouldnt say his defense is really better. He gets tagged alot more when pressured than Vitali does.

Vitali keeps his hands low, but that doesnt automatically equal a bad defense. He is harder to hit than Wlad, so I would say his defense is better.


I would say all around the old Vitali was a tougher opponent than Wlad. Vit looked great last night and had good accuracy and good variety and angles compared with Wlad under steward who just jabs for rounds on end.

The only thing bad I noticed about Vitali last night was that his speed has slipped a bit. Wlad is definitely a bit faster than Vitali. Speed wasnt a huge issue againt Peter though.

Peter should have tried to get on the inside. I was surprised he seemed content to stay on the outside. He gave himself basically a zero percent chance of winning by staying on the outside agaisnt vitali all night. It seemed like he didnt give a **** about retaining his belt from round 1.

 

well according to Byrd himself, Vitali is the tougher fight and his style is harder to deal with.

Also, Vitali probably got the injury early in the fight and was still ahead on cards.

 

In my opinion, to put it simply:



Wlad is the greater athlete, Vitali is the better fighter

 

wlad has a better offense; faster hands, harder punches.

vitali has a good chin and probably a little better defense. plus, his offensive skills arent too far from on par with his brothers.

vitali is definitely the more complete figher, but hes a little late now, hes kind of old.

i am a HUGE wlad fan but i agree vitali is better..i give him the edge due to the fact that he hits harder imo and has a better chin but in a 12 rd decision i fancy wlad due to his stamina
