Hey everyone this just in, Vitali announced his retirement during a conference in Ukraine, said he's not fighting anymore, lets Wladimir take care of the division on behalf of both brothers.

Vitali left a good imprint on the sport. I'll never forget the Lewis fight, and I'll never forget the destruction of Mike Tyson conqueror Danny Williams.

He owes Charr a rematch! The division needs it...the fans want it! Charr won the event!

I know IB. It's what Jim Lampley kept saying for MONTHS to hype up the fight. Lampley and Skysports sold that fight. Made him sound like a world beater. :rofl

I'm glad to hear it. I enjoyed his comeback, and the way he dominated guys as a past prime old man after years in retirement gives some credibility to the idea that he was a good enough head to head fighter to be competitive in any era. He's too old now though. It's only a matter of time before he loses as a 41+ year old man

I'm looking forward to the future too. It was good having both Klitschkos active at the same time (not for some) but it'll be interesting that Wlad will now be the only way to get a big paycheck and shot at greatness. It should also provide him more opponents. Guys that Vitali would have beaten before (Gomez, Adamek, Johnson, Arreola) would now have to fight Wlad instead. That way more contenders should be fighting each other to get their shot, and Wlad shouldn't have to take as many easy fights because there's nobody to fight
