I have seen all his fights, no way is he slow. He is quick, has great stamina, good defense, power, rock solid chin, is smart in the ring. Those who claim otherwise are delusional.

Should have seen Vitali as a kickboxer.

Vitali was not sucking any wind vs. Peter or Gomez. I have seen him go 12 rounds, right after his shoulder surgery lay-off, vs. Timo Hoffman, he had zero problem. I can see with both my eyes, he is a very skilled fighter. Even Atlas had to admit that today, and he hate Klitschkos.

Hate to break it to you, but he looked tired early and he HAS slowed down.

But I'd expect this from you.

I agree, Farmboxer! Vitaliy is faster than some people speculate.

    Hello Ivo.

Yes, their opponents always say that they did not expect him to be so quick. Remember Larry Donald? Rich Giachetti made fun of Vitali, Donald and Rich were laughing, but Donald was stopped for the first time in that fight. Donald was a good boxer, but Vitali outclassed him, easily.

Klitschko haters will always cut them down. If Klitschkos could not fight, they would say they are good.

I watched for this carefully as I saw the fight, and I didn't see Klitschko slowing down one bit.

In fact after the ref gave him a one point deduction for who know what, Vitali turned it on a notch more, got mad and finished off Gomez immediately. If you think I am wrong, watch it again, and you will see I'm right.

Yes, you are correct. I have watched the fight several times today and Vitali was not tired. He trained very hard. Gomez trained harder for his fight with Vitali than for any other fight in his career. I have never seen Vitali run out of gas in any of his fights. 36 knockouts in 37 wins!!!!!!!

Vitali always has his mouth open while he fights. I remember in the Peter fight he was breathing hard in the 2nd round. All the haters come out saying he is already winded

5 rounds later before going into the 8th, and the punch stats show him throwing an average of 70+ a round. Still is breathing through is mouth.

I find it amusing that everyone claims he has lousy stamina, yet he has the workrate of a WW. Throws 60-70+ punches a round. At 6'7 and 250 lbs, thats pretty ****ing impressive

When I run ten miles, I get winded early, but after I get my second wind, I am fine.

No matter how you attept to spin this, Fuzz the fact remains that he is 37 and he reflexes have undoubtedly eroded.

Lots of heavyweights would love to have those reflexes.

Perhaps, but what does that have to do with the price of crude oil? :huh

Klitschko fans are funny, you make some statement about his reflexes not being what they were and they're all over you.

In my opinion, he looked every one of his 37 years last night, but if you trawl the threads I'm all up for giving him credit for coming back after a long layoff and injury to regain his old belt.

Whilst he got the victory, I didn't think he looked great.

I am going by watching all his fights. I have them all on tape. I was impressed by Vitali beating Gomez to the punch today. Gomez has always been known for him speed. Over 300 amateur fights.
