Vitali is a superb boxer. Surely any boxing fan can appreciate his technical brilliance? I thought he looked gassed last night after the 4th round but he just moves so well and is so fast it doesn't matter. He's never out of control and almost every fight he's had has just ended up as target practice.

I'm a Haye fan, I hope he KO's Vitali, but I realise he's only got two chances: None and fcuk all. Vitali could rule the division for another 10 years if he stays motivated and injury free.

The heavyweight division is very weak, that is why Vitali keeps winning.

In another area, he would not have this success. He has hands very low, that might work against this caliber of opponent. But it did not work against out of prime LL.

Gomez is not a fighter you can look that great against, however Vitali without doubt has slowed down.

Gomez has no power whatsoever, his punches were calzaghe like, if David Haye can hit Vitali with as much ease i see the Hayemaker being Victorious. Speed kills.

If Vitali hits Haye flush (or maybe even not that flush), it is all over.

If Haye hits Vitali flush, will Vitali go down?vitali has a good chin.

You are right when you say that Haye's speed might trouble Vitali, but there are just so many questions marks about Haye.Chin, stamina, intangibles...?

But I certainly consider Haye more dangerous than Gomez.

He has height, reach, a good jab, upright style making the best of that reach, damaging power and a very good chin.

What he doesn't have is speed and timing. He found it different to time Gomez yesterday in the early rounds until Gomez was cut & exhausted.

You are correct. That was a bull**** point deduction because it was Gomez leading with his head a la Holyfield. After the point was taken Vitali got mad & finished Gomez off...................

Some of you should watch other divisons. Gomez-Vitali was as ugly as it gets.

It might just be the same way Haye, Briggs & Toney gained weight so quickly.................hmmmmm, not the answer you were looking for? The fact is Vitali has never tested positive for a banned substance since he turned pro.

Hey, think what a channel surfer thought when they turned on the Vitali-Gomez fight, that would've killed the person's perception of boxing.
