Vitali was fitter because he was a true professional who trained like a determined fighter. And he landed some really hard shots too. He showed that he was completely superior to Lewis that fight. Only the cut stopped the fight.
You really think TKO 6 was a BS stoppage? It could have gone on for sure...but potentially at what cost to Vitali.
Yea it was BS. Vitali was never hurt, stunned, anything. He was clearly showing that he was the better fighter.
This one again, he got cut BADLY by several LEGITIMATE punches from Lewis. The fight was stopped when it was because one more round and not only would Vitali have been disfigured for life he would likely have ended up blind in his right eye. TKO6 get over it Lewis owed nothing to Vitali after that he had his chance against a faded half motivated fat past prime Lewis and didnt have the tools to put him away.
People are ****ing stupid. "He lost to Lewis, Byrd", blah, blah. Those wins for Lewis and Byrd are paper wins, meaningless. Cut wins and injury wins, lol. And I'm not even a big Vitali fan. He's ****nal is kinda limited.
This quote is my point. You don't have the integrity to say Lewis was getting outclassed and won because of a happenstance cut.
Vitali was a dead man walking by the 6th round. Lewis took his soul and tore it apart when he landed that uppercut. He clinched like a mad man and stumbled around the ring like a drunk. Lewis would have finished him in the next round. KO. Stopping that fight on cuts was the worst thing that could have happened to Lewis.
They have none (integrity) and the fighter they love has none either - rematch offered and immediately ordered up by wbc. Their cowardly lion quits day before due to be stripped. Not the actions of a great champion, more a cowardly liar actually.
