Last nights destruction of adamek..i could not help wonder that finally Old father time has caught up with vitali, Team klitchko are not stupid.,..by taking on the weak punching, and now it seems the weak chined adamek....they knew there was NO RISK.....I dont believe for one moment that vitali "carried" adamek into the 10th for the fans....OR that it went to the 10th because of adameks "chin"..........No it was because in all reality vitali now has to save his energy....he was making adamek look like bambi just with his jab......Tomaz is a brave/dumb? guy....but it wasn't nice to watch......but i think vitali has grown old overnight....and his next fight will be a loss?
old overnight ? Nah....he's in his 40's...He already retired back in 2004....It's a pretty good "come back" imo
He did very well in my opinion, and he looks superbly conditioned in the fight. I dont see much wear and tear in Vitali's arsenal The only sign of aging I saw was when Vitali fell over, It took him a while to get back up. But thats only me nitpicking
A 40 years old Vitali schooled a two times champion in two different devision in his prime, who never was stoped. For me Viali looks good as alleways!
what makes you say he looked old? yeah he stopped Adamek in the 10th but thats nothing unusual for him he's been rolling them late stoppages in ever since his comeback in 2008. I thought he looked fantastic against a live opponent last night
Vitali said before and after the fight, that Adamek is not a real HW. So why i should mention this? Its not Vitalis fauld, that Adamek was a mandatory challenger! Its not only the size differnce. Vitali was faster or as fast as Adamek.
This^^^^^^^:good And it was obvious from the second round when Vitali first hurt Adamek that he did not want to seriously hurt him. I am a fan of Adamek, my brother is NOT. When Tomasz went flying into them ropes, my stomache turned.......my brother jumped out of his chair screaming at Vitali to finish him. I mean, when Vitali hurt Danny Williams in the first or Lennox in the first, I was all Vitali going for the kill, but last night just didn't seem right, and Vitali properly restrained. Haters can call it what they want...conservation of energy b/c he's old, loss of power(which is the last to go idiots), whatever.......I consider it the honorable thing to do, not beating the little guy. Vitali is NO bully, and had no beef with Adamek, therefore when he hurt Adamek, he stopped punching, looked to the ref to stop it, then went back to the jab. While Adamek/Klitschko haters will argue why/how Vitali failed to destroy Adamek, the fans of those fighters are happy that two of their favorite fighters had a fight, one won, but the other walked away with his head and body still intact.
And his chin is/was amongst the most overrated in boxing. What sort of 'iron chinned' fighter get's put on ***** street by light punchers like Cunningham and Arreola?
Vitali totally and easily dominated a current top contender. You can say what you want about Adamek, but fact is that there aren't any better (except Haye maybe) opponents out there at present. Regarding the statement that Vit is looking old - yes, he is, because he is 40. His performance was awesome though.
Not if Vitali's next fight is against David Pinky Toe Haye................ Save the K2 hate, nobody is buying that crap. Vitali dominated Adamek in a very entertaining fight. Get over it.
It's posts like this that makes me wonder whether people watch boxing with one eye focused on the telly and the other eye somewhere else. Vitali put on a really good performance which has been echoed by pundits and many many boxing fans alike. I suggest you rewatch the fight because Vitali looked far from old and totally bossed his opponent in every round.
