Vitali is ripe for the taking!!!

Brits- get your man in there. Petition the WBA to postpone the Ruiz fight so that Haye can fight Vitaly.

Haye only won a disputed decision over sorry ass Valuev, he's not good enough to beat even a faded 40 year old Vitali or Wlad. I don't think he goes the distance with either.
I like Haye but he's overrated, and i'll probably be betting on Ruiz against him.

Nobody has tested Vitali for a long time, it'll be good to see how he handles someone who wants to have a go back instead of standing still and allowing him to dictate the tempo. I go for Haye late stoppage.

 

Haye knows he can not take one punch from Vitali so will do another marathon to try and steal the belt from him.

I was one of the few descenting voices that suggested Vitali would be an easier fight for David than Wlad as soon as a potential fight was announced yonks ago. Vitali is a shite boxer that has a big reach and heavy hands but that's it. His competition has seriously hoodwinked many boxing fans into thinking he's indestructable. Wlad is a harder gight no doubt. Johnson was never going to do anything other than lazily pop out a half decent jab - that's all he ever does

This whole thread's ******ed. How the **** is Vitali there for the taking? We here it every time he fights. He's old, he's boring, he lacks power, his skills are on the wane, yadda, yadda ****ing yadda. But he keeps on winning doesn't he?

people talk about haye/valuev like there's only 2 ways to box: run away or toe to toe slugfest. Truth is if haye had to run against valuev he's got no chance against vitali.

 

He looks very ungainly but his style makes him hard to beat. I'd give Haye a good chance.

 

Seems like i was the only one who was quite impressed with Vitali. Throwing a hell of a lot of leather,even in the last round.
The enormity of the task Haye faces should not be underestimated as Johnson was only in defensive mode last night and proved himself to be quite decent at it. Its just a pity he showed ZERO attack.

 

Eddie Chambers should have gone after Vitali instead of Wlad.

I still don't think Vitali's there for the taking but he's not what he was before.

I think if Haye manages to get in range and time the ****er, whilst not getting hit by anything significant, then he's got a very good chance. Much easier said than done though
