Lewis, at his worst, beat a prime roided up Vitali fair and square.

Rahman had the good fortune of facing an out-of-shape unmotivated Lewis who was under estimating him, but unlike Vitali was actually good enough to take advantage of the situation and KO Lewis. No wonder Roidtali ducked Rahman.

And we all saw what happened in the Rahman rematch, Vitali would have been no different. Lewis owed the steroid cheat nothing, he had his chance but simply wasn't good enough.

Bruno and Mercer both gave prime, fully motivated, in shape Lewis a much tougher fight than Vitali gave to the worst version of Lewis to ever step into the ring.

 

Stiverne deserves a crack at the title.
