Holmes is much quicker and the much better technician. A better match up would be Holmes-Wlad, I'd go with Holmes still but more competitive

Larry too fast, too fluid, too mobile. Holmes on cuts.

we're disagreeing. you and i have different opinions regarding numerous aspect of this argument. you dismissed my opinions sure, but you didn't present any facts or evidence.

i think you put a lot of stock into klit's awkward style rather than his comparatively thin resume. i put a lot of stock into holmes' superior track record and imo, superior skill set. we're coming at it from different angles

if we don't agree that holmes is faster, we just don't agree.

Holmes protege did not do so well against Vitali. What makes you think that the master would do much better?

Do you not see any difference between Johnson and Holmes? :-(

Sugar Ray Leonard once had a protege named Andrew Maynard.... Hearns beat him in one round. hopefully you can see the flaw in your logic.

I see stylistical problems for Holmes not mentioning Holmes being outmuscled and outhustled.

Well, this goes without saying but Holmes is also much better than the likes of Johnson. He wasn't nearly that slow. I don't see him being out hustled either seeing as Holmes had a good work rate.

Holmes would also have the edge from the outside seeing as he has a much better jab and combinations.

If this was Wlad I could see an entirely different argument, but Vitali doesn't pose as much as a threat as Wlad to Holmes imo.

In 12, Holmes by VERY comfortable decision. In 15, Holmes stops him, by the latter rounds it would target practice beatdown.
