IIIII dont know man this could be good, i mean he is one big punching bag and will be able to take some good punishment for a bit so it could be good
It sounds like DKP and Valuev want a good chunk of the US and Russia TV rights deal to make the fight. That will put their final purse around 3.3 million. It's not a new development, Valuev did not accept Vitali's offer, they are just addressing it in a different way. Vitali does not want to share anything, they want to pay a 2.5 million fixed purse and that's it. I have the feeling this fight will be made, they are not that far apart.
For the record I think Wlad DOES have the chin to beat Valuev, but that's really not relevant the way I see it. Wlad is so much faster, smoother, better footwork, etc... he can hit Valuev all night long without taking much in return. So even if he doesn't have a chin, as you say, he wouldn't even matter. Vitali can get his shots in, but will take a lot more in return than Wlad would, and Wlad hits a lot harder, imo. Wlad KOs Valuev Vitali MIGHT KO Valuev, but most likely a wide decision win. But boy would I like to see a KO!
What the **** are you on about? Why is it you morons keep bringing Haye up when he isn't even mentioned?? Get a grip. atsch Great rebuttal of my point by the way.
:yep Really he wasnt mentioned maybe you should go back and read the thread:deal Sooo do you think Haye is not a power puncher due to his level of competition or is what you said about vitaly having no power utter bulshitt?
Glad to see Valuev came to his senses, but let's not kid ourselves here. Valuev would never risk his own belt vs. Vitali, but now that Valuev has no belt, and this is his largest pay day, he accepted a match. This will be Vitlai's 5th ring magazine rated opponent in a row since his comeback...Peter, Gomez, Arrolea, and Johnson...to date he has stopped 3 of them, and only lost maybe 1-2 rounds in the process. Amazing. Valuev won't win a round, but he can't run and play defense like Johnson did.
Yes, as appealing as the fight is, let's not get carried away with it happening, just yet. Don King still may prevent it. But let's hope not. I have been dying to see this fight for a few years, now. Very interesting matchup. It may be the biggest (height and weight, both) world title fight in history. If Haye can stagger the Valuev, Vitali can take him off his feet, I betcha.
Glad if this fight happens. Vitali still has good reflexes, can't see Valuev finding him at any point. He will be the huge Peter - I'm almost sure. As the fight goes on Vitali may feel more and more comfortable seeing how easy is to avoid Valuev punches - and start to do a show landing loads of heavy leather, showboating, landing power shots and combinations at will. There's even some chance he'll make him quit. Bad matchup for Nikolai.
That is the most ******ed rebuttal I have ever read. I'm sorry but you fail at the internet. Read my post again and then your response. atsch You brought him up during a response, which a) didn't involve you and b) wasn't about Haye. I know the thread mentions Haye but the post I made and responded to didn't. Moron. I was quoting someone who mentioned VITLAY'S KO percentage, to which I said that doesn't tell the whole story. At no point did I mention Haye. Prove I did or shut the **** up with your nonsensical ramblings you half-life. :deal Quote the part where I mention VITLAY having no power. Go on... You can't because I didn't say it. So stop twisting my words and making yourself look a thick **** in the process. What I said was that a KO percentage doesn't tell the whole story as you have to look at who he is stopping. It's not a difficult concept even for you. :rofl To answer your question I think both fighters hit very hard, it would be ******ed to think otherwise. Quit starting debates for the sake of starting debates you tool. We get it, you don't like Haye. Cry me a river, build a bridge and get the **** over it. :hi:
