I'd say the Lewis fight was uncomfortable for him, his face was a mess, but vitalli wanted to go on when the fight was stopped.

You can't seriously think that Vitali was afraid of Stiverne. He retired to become Mayor of Kiev which likely results in way more money than boxing.

He is involved in the political turmoil in the Ukraine due to his love for his country and people. There is far more danger in doing that, real danger, than facing anyone inside a ring. Fighting in a ring is something he did for most of his life so to suggest that he might be afraid of anyone there is just silly.

Yes, by far. Kiev is the capital of Ukraine, and with the way business is being done in most of post-Soviet countries including Ukraine, he is getting huge cuts from projects he approves.

Even if that is true, the fact is that he didn't quit like Mike Tyson vs Holyfield (II) and Kevin Mcbride.

    He quit once

Cut bad vs Lewis never quit

    Hurt vs Chisora never quit

You think he'd retire for 4 yrs fake a injury to avoid a glass chin like Rahman

Stiverne lol guy retires in his 40s after a long reign and it's ducking? The same Stiverne who made Ray Austin look like Larry Holmes and was losing vs Arreola

We get it you don't like Vitali but it's ok he's retired now

He never said that. He said he was injured, and it hurt a lot, but he wouldn't give up the title like that ever again.

    Don't make things up

    Yeah clearly :patsch

Fights Lennox on 2 weeks notice and retires him, but he's scared of lucky punch Rahman coming off a win over Monte Barrett :nut
