Vitali isnt slow at all for his size. He aint like Ali but his speed is deceptive and his reflexes are good.

And I really dont get what you mean by "awkward angles that any of these fighters could see coming from a mile away." The whole point of awkward angles is that it is hard to see the punches coming.

You have a clear bias against Vitali

here's a break down on how i think vitali would compete against these fighters

george foreman- never has vitali faced a power house such as a prime foreman. vitali would be doing more moving then he ever has in real life. the minute foreman would back into the ropes he would unload murderous hooks and straight punches that would either knock vitali out while standing or force the ref to stop the fight. foreman by KO/TKO in the 6th round

muhammad ali- honestly, ali would have a field day on vitali. vitali's face would get so busted up from ali landing jabs, straight rights, any type of punch with sniper like accuracy. vitali just wouldn't have an answer for ali's speed, athleticism, and overall elusiveness. ali by stoppage in the 11th with vitali's face beaten beyond recognition.

larry holmes- this probably the ONLY fight i could see vitali being the victor, larry holmes would dominate the early rounds by working the jab, but vitali would eventually overcome his style in the later rounds by neutralizing his jab by keeping constant pressure on holmes. vitali takes it by SD

lennox lewis- an over the hill, out of shape lennox lewis opened up vitali's face, you can be the judge on how vitali would fair against a prime lennox lewis

joe louis- in all honsety, vitali's style, and body type are to of joe's advantage. vitali's awkward punches and stationary foot work would only be vitali's achilles heel instead of his strengths. joe would close the distance after slipping through vital's jab and unload on his mid section before pounding away at his face. it would be a stylistic nightmare for vitali, joe louis would take the TKO after vitali repeatedly getting dropped from joe louis' bombs

i meant that he throws them so slow that fighters with cat-like reflexes such as louis and ali would see them coming and capitalize. i may of had my choice of words about the klits, but i dont have any biased against them. i think he couldve beaten the likes of many fighters during the 50's 60's 70's etc. i just dont see how his style would fair against the speedy, slick style of ali, or the stalking, big man destroying style of louis.

Rating Ali that way can be justified and easily, the man dedicated his LIFE, literally, to the sport. So going into that discussion would be complicated and I can understand people overreacting towards anything that MIGHT sound bad.

I've always been a Vitali fan, the man is a great fighter and my favorite heavyweight. As a fan of his he even fooled ME about his stamina as I used to think he would run out of gas but comes back always. Now I know it's obviously a tactic to invite opponents in. Look at how he is able to be active and move as big as he is, that's amazing.

I'd pick Larry Holmes, Ali second.

    L. Lewis would probably win it, followed by Ali the rest would be too close to call.

You saw what Eddie Chambers did to Dimitrenko right? Now take a heavy that size(he's about Louis' size and add another level of combination punching, power and finishing ability.....and no I'm not implying Dimitrenko is anything close to Vitali other than size-wise) That's how Louis would fight Vitali and give him a very tough fight. If Vitali was not surprised by Louis' power(and he would be from a guy that size) then his handspeed and punch selection during combinations would really surprise him. Louis was a compact punching, economical stalker that once his jab created openings he would open up like a machine gun with hooks, crosses and uppercuts to the head and body.

What I'm getting at is despite being so much smaller, he'd really gain Vitali's respect and force a tougher than expected fight. He'd open up once he's in range but would mainly only take damage working his way in. And Joe's hands were underrated speed-wise. And his methodical shuffle was underrated because he was constantly cutting the ring off and always in position to punch.

Vitali loses to Lewis and Ali..I think George puts up a good fight and that 1 is close but Vitali prolly take it....Ali uses speed to get in and get away and Lewis beat him 1 time by scoring a lucky tko..sometimes better lucky than good
