It seems like its April fools day here at least one a month.

Carnera was mildly skilled, and could not take a punch.

Baer didn't know how to jab, and was easy to hit.

Simon was a punching bag and it took Louis a while to stop him.

If you took the three fighters best attributes ( Carrera's size, Baer's power and Simon's chin ), they still would not be as good as Vitali because not one of the three was a good boxer.

Watch the fights Vitali made many miss. Including Lewis, Byrd, Sanders, Donald, Bean, etc...

Both Byrd and Lewis said Vitali was hard to hit cleanly.

Also its hard to land when you getting hit often by a jab, and can't reach the other guy or catch up to him.

    Think, for once.

And how many of these fights was Joe Louis prime for?
    Schmeling 2x- yes
    Baer - yes
    Walcott 2x - no
    Charles -no
    Marciano - no

50% of the fights you chose to gauge Louis on he wasn't even prime for. This is very poor methodology.

Vitali carries his hands by his waist, going by what modernists say Joe Louis should KO him in the first round!

Well if you got good footwork, good punch anticipation, and a controlling range, plus the ability to land and many angles, it works.

A modernist would point out Louis also has a low guard, the difference is he was hit far more often, has slower feet, and stick his face forward. Films show how often Louis was tagged by smaller men, who for the most part did not have good skills. Those who had good skills in Walcott, Conn, Charles, and Schmeling had a field day landing.

Louis was 33 years old for the Walcott fight. Still in his prime.

Older for Charles, yes, but he was badly whipped. Like I said these where the best he fought.

Joe Louis was past prime for Walcott. Notice that he was about 10 lbs above is prime fighting weight.

He was more than just older for Charles, he was definitely past prime. You can't admit that so your dishonesty is shown.

So here it is. If modern fighters do it its ok. If old school fighters do it then its a no no. Total hypocrisy.

    Prove it.

Btw Walcott, Conn, Charles, and Schmeling are 10x more skilled than Vitali.

I think this is on point. Vitali has defensive flaws that would be exposed by Louis.

Louis by late stoppage or decision i think. Vitali's size would be an advantage but not his style.
