Louis ( age 33 ) himself said he was in his prime for Walcott. Are you going to argue with him?

Yes, he was older for Charles, but still decent. Check the ring record, Louis was on a winning streak when he meet Charles.

Charles was perhaps the most skilled man Louis meet and it showed. He had a field day on him. Did you see the fight? Charles didn't run by the way, he stood toe to toe with Louis often landing and then some just like some other semi skilled to skilled fighters did when Louis was younger.

    Styles make fights.
Louis has the perfect style to trouble Vitali. It is very possible Vitali, as good as he is against other ATG's head to head, loses this.

Do you have any proof that Louis said he was prime?

Louis fought Charles a year before he fought Marciano. Are you going to tell me he went from being decent to not even a breath of his former self against Marciano in a years time?

Again I want to see proof of what you claim Louis said.

So much wrong, not going to bother correcting it. I'll just be rehashing things I've said over and over.

Tough fight. Klitchko by decision in a very competitive bout.

theres no proof at all he was prime, in fact at that time the turning point in your career was hitting your thirties.

SO... once again good ol Mendoza is arguing with the ENTIRE WHOLE HUMAN HISTORY. good luck with your new ice skating session uphill.

Vitali doesn't have sufficient power to KO Louis. Only way he would win.

Louis UD due to Vitali having fairly strong punch resistance.

Stuff like this is highly bent. I wish you wouldn't strut around with the superiority complex.

Academic ability is not the same as intelligence. Don't rub it in people's faces, it will quickly become grating.

If an old, out of shape and overconfident Lennox Lewis could turn a prime Vitali's face into a bleeding marshmallow after 6 rounds then I see no reason to think a prime Joe Louis could do similar.

On any given night Vitali could win. But I think Louis wins 75% of their bouts. But Im biased and I know it. Louis would have beaten most fighters, when he was in his prime, I think.

Fair enough point but it can also be grating to be called a fool, even if indirectly.

I'm a pretty big adherent to the golden rule, which if you think it through doesn't necessarily mean being nice all the time.

That is a joke. Vitali is a good puncher. Some common opponents with Lewis, Tyson, and Foreman said Vitali hit harder.

Louis UD? He lost more round than won vs Schmeling, Conn, Wallcott and Charles. Vitali has the best rounds won to lost rounds ration ManBearPig...in the history of champion for boxing. So now you learned something.
