Gotta go by timeline. So obviously can't have 'Prime Vitali (whenever the **** that was) against every Tyson opponent.

So basically 'prime' Vitali against the 80's Guys Tyson fought.

Semi Prime Vitali against the mid to late 90's guys Tyson fought and Current Vitali against the 2000+ Tyson opponents. How many losses does VK Have?

    Prime Vitali vs
    Trevor Berbick
    Bonecrusher Smith
    Pinklon Thomas
    Tony Tucker
    Tyrell Biggs
    Larry Holmes
    Tony Tubbs
    Michael Spinks
    Frank Bruno
Buster Douglas (that crazed rabid version)
    Razer Ruddock 2X

    Semi Prime Vitali vs
    Frank Bruno (2nd time)
    Evander Holyfield twice
    PETER MCNEELEY
    Bruce Sheldon
    Andrew Golota

    and
    Current Vitali vs
2002 Lewis (Lewis was past prime, but still very good and motivated)

None, assuming Lennox doesn't win the lottery of cuts again.

Well, its quite tough, but would Vitali spend all night clubbing and having sex before a fight with Douglas?

    Would Vitali go to prison?

How would he fare against Holyfield after 5 years in prison?

How would he fare against Lewis while about 14 years past his peak?

If Vitali hadnt fought Chris Byrd, people here would talk about how hed destroy Byrd in a couple of rounds, because Vitali is oh so big and so strong.

If Vitali hadnt fought Lennox, people would claim Vitali would have tested Lewis chin and/or outlasted him in a war because Vitali is so big and durable

Until he actually fought these people, its hard to say.

Tyson/Vitalis mutual opponents are, Ribalta, Lewis, Norris, Francis and Williams.

Both stopped Francis in 2 rounds, but Tyson was well into the end half of his career whereas Vitali was 18-0

Tyson stopped Ribalta in 10 compared to Vitali who did it in 2. But Tyson fought Ribalta 12 years before when both him and Ribalta were younger, i dont think Ribalta was anywhere near prime when he fought Vitali. Tyson fought Ribalta in 86 and Vitali in 98.

Both stopped Norris in one round, again Tyson was in the last stage of his career whereas Vitali was 29-1 and yet to challenge for the title

Both fought Lennox, Vitali was in his prime when he lost to LL in 6 and Tyson was 14 years past his peak (since Spinks). Tyson went 8 with LL.

Both fought Williams, Tyson nearly had Williams out of there in the first round, he was winning until he popped his knee, this was nearly his last fight before retirement. Vitali was in his prime when he disposed of Williams

Tysons post prison career is severely overrated. His pre prison record was 41-1-0 and his post prison record was 9-5-2

Tyson's opposition wasn't as impressive so much as the way he demolished it. Vitali should beat all those guys on an individual basis but he wouldn't be able to keep the same pace Tyson did without his body breaking down. In that initial run from Berbick to Douglas, Tyson faced 11 contenders in a little over 3 years. Vitali isn't matching that.

    4 or 5 losses I reckon

He definately lose to Lewis, probably goes 1-1 with Holy & Ruddock. At least one of Douglas, Tucker, Thomas or Spinks would beat him too.

Vitali has been dominant over fairly poor competition, Lewis & Sanders both had him in trouble

Exactly. The impressive thing about Tyson is not the fighters he faced - they were, for the most, every bit as ordinary as the guys the Klits have beaten - but the WAY and the SPEED in which he marched through them.

Vitali would beat all the guys Tyson beat. He just would do it over a longer period of time and less impressively.
