Rahman and Mcall KOF Clean OUT Prime Lewis there was no need for any rematch. Is this your logic?

So you believe everything Lennox says? I guess you believe Lennox when he said he woulda stopped Vitali in the next few rounds then too?

Or, you know, you could open our eyes, because it was easy for all to see the Lewis that fought Vitali was considerably fatter & slower than say 5 years prior. Vitali put up a good fight but ultimately lost in his prime versus the worst ever version of Lennox, that's a fact.

Well, Lewis fans really don't have much invested in this so here's how it really breaks down:

Vitali supporters: " Lewis retired because he was scared Vitali would beat him."

Vitali haters: "Lewis retired cause he didn't want to lose to a bum like Vitali."

    The eternal paraodox.

Vitali didn't retire Lewis, Lewis beat Vitali and then retired. Lewis wasn't finished off by Vitali, it's just a delusional Vitali, who regrets he missed a great opportunity that's it.

    I was just kidding Ilesey:thumbsup

  8. lennox was 38. at some point on that curve from then till now vitali would beat lennox. but im sure if hed lost that fight, lennox would have come back and smashed him. or if he had trained for that fight properly would have done the job better on the night. he didnt tho . AND he won the fight. the better question is who is better in their prime and i gotta say lewis. look at performances and competition and youl see what i mean.

All over that summation. Seems to me having watched the fight again recently that Lewis looked way out of shape and Vitali still couldn't beat him. Vitali has improved since and I imagine VItali of two years ago would have put up a much better effort against the 38 year old Lewis.

Fact is though that Vitali couldn't beat Lewis who clearly had one eye on the exit door as he knew it was unlikely he would ever face Tyson. Iron Mike staying out of trouble long enough to train for a fight with lennox - unlikely! Lewis in his prime would walk over Vitali and these comments by VItali now are just his attempt to cover up as somebody else put it "his missed opportunity".
