Vitali Klitschko: “I sent Lennox Lewis into retirement"

I am a big Vitali fan and I certainly got over it soon after the fight because Vitali showed his qualities that you seem to have missed, my question is can you get over the fact that Vitali retired Lennox? :hey

 

ok man although i beleived that vitali could had beaten lennox in a rematch and even though im a vitali fan

i dont see lennox as a *****.

i dont think vitali was the reason that he retired.

i think even if he was to K.O vitali in 20 seconds he would had retired anyway.

WHO in their right mind, in their early 30's, BRAGGS about losing a fight to a near 40yo and then claims to have retired said near 40yo? Williams Joppy might as well claim to have retired Duran...same stupid ****.

 

Yeah well Lennox is the one with the W, and is the one with the TKO, and Vitali was the one with the ****ed up eye and the one hanging on in the last round
Lewis would've took control of the fight after that, no doubt about it.

Good god you sound as if you are talking about a youngster and an old man, there is only 6 years age difference between Lennox and Vitali I dont see how this is stupid.

 

Doesn't matter, Lewis was still near 40 while Vitali was 30-something. Really...who brags about LOSING a fight then saying they retired a guy after it? Besides, in bopxiong going from 33-34 to 39-40 is a HUGE difference.

For the record, I wasn't a Lewis fan at all. But that doesn't mean I condone by pointless bragging. Vitali would better off had he STFU and got over this years ago...

 

And? I like both, I have huge respect for Lennox and have never discredited him, I just think he realized that he could lose against Vitali in a rematch. Remember he promised him the rematch and waited a long time before he retired? How could you forget about this?

 

Vitali could have said nothing that's right, but can't you also understand his disappointment to this day that if he beat Lennox at all then it would have been a huge career boost for him. Well I guess you just dislike Vitali.

 

No, I do understand. Lennox was the last great HW. It would have been a HUGE feather in his hat. But that HW was near 40, had nothing left to prove.
