Lets all get real here. Lennox and Vitali were both forced to take that fight on short notice. Lewis won on a severe cut to Vitali's eye but was behind on points after six grueling rounds. Vitali wanted desperately to fight a rematch with Lennox which Lewis had promised him and Vitali campaigned for one for two years. Lewis backed down and hid like a *****. Big George Foreman, when he was still an HBO announcer, was so disgusted by Lewis's obvious cowardice that he stated on HBO that Lewis should rematch Vitali for the huge money purse and to help boxing in general. This was a heavyweight fight that the fans and the television moguls wanted to see and showcase. A rematch between two huge heavyweight fighters for the ultimate title in sports; the heavyweight boxing CHAMPIONSHIP of the world and Lennox ran like a *****. History will see it that way too as Vitali continues to dominate rivals well past the age Lewis retired.

Or, and this is crazy, you could have not just assumed I disliked Vitali just because you're a little girl.

Besides, arguing like a vaginal **** would have been you.

YOU are the one who jumped to conclusions.

YOU are the one who claimed I was talking bad about Vitali when no such thing occurred.

I simply clarified in the manner in which I was addressed.

Next time, change your tampon little girl...

Vitali bragging he retired Lennox Lewis is a bit like Larry Holmes bragging he was the only man to stop Ali.

No doubt Vitali would have beaten a shot Lewis idf he had a 2nd shot at an even older version - But the first fight shows that a prime Lewis would have made easy work of a prime Klitschko

VITALAY missed the passing of the guard.

The shot old heavyweight usually LOSES to the up and coming guy, but VITALAY's face got sliced like a pizza and the doctor had to stop it for VITALAY's own safety. :yep:yep:yep:yep:yep

Lewis said he would offer a re-match. Lewis ran his mouth. A purse of 18 million was offered to Lewis for the re-match. The WBC told him told either accept, or be stripped of his last belt.

    Lewis opted to retire.

The *he was old* excuse is comedic, given that Lewis was 37 years old at the time of the fight. Not dead with old age, as some try to make him out to be.

He was also very few pounds over his normal fighting weight.

I don't blame him for getting out while the getting was good, so to speak, but he did promise a rematch, and waited for over half a year before going back on his word and bowing out.

And had Lewis not had someone as credible as Vitali waiting on him, and being his only option for his possible next fight, you can bet Lewis would have fought on.

    Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

    THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

    punches landed

    Vitali 156

    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

    Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

:patsch And yet it was Vitali who looked like Chainsaw Massacre and walked away with a Loss to the oldest and heaviest version of Lewis. No wonder you guys are bitter!

Hey, get over it. Eventually Vitali will get over the fact he couold not beat lewis that night.
