The fight that never took place since they gave a promise to their mother.

In the MMA scene for example, Ken and Frank Shamrock were very open to fight each other. Ken stated: "Brothres fight every day, thats absolute normal. Just look at Kain and Abel".

I did a mythical matchup once in the biggest german boxing forum (or one of), and basically 80% believed Vitali was the better Klitschko because of his guts, chin, durability and fights vs Lewis and Sanders.

Others say Vitali is overrated and Wlad was much more tested in his whole career, since his career was so much longer and he had to overcome more difficult situations (like Sam Peter for example).

Viatli is tougher and can take more shots, Wlad hits harder and had a better technique.
Vitali is defensive better, Wlad 1996-2004 was arguably offensive better, later he became more Dr. Octopus with Jab and Grab.

How many shots could Wlad take from Vitali?
How many shots could Vitali take from Wlad?

I would say Vitali wins. But maybe Wlad could cut him. Wlad has a reach advantage (measured the wingspan, not the arm lenght).

I think Vitali's better chin gets him the win against Wlad

Wlad should outbox Vitali. I mean before Wlad's losses to Sanders and Brewster everyone considered Wlad better. And after Vitali's comeback everyone considered Wlad better. It's not like Vitali is a powerpuncher either

Even Wlaimir Klitschko himself pointed, that his brother is much better/ the better of the brothers and hit harder. For instance when Samuel Peter was complettly dominated by him at his peak, who had the younger brother on the verge of defeat.

So as everyone know that "Dr. Ironfist" would just go through it, that was a case that it never happened. Dr. Vitaly Klitschko had also a lot higher output, with 200 punches per round and is bigger (has about the size of Fury).

It was considered that he fights Haye, because he go much bettere chances vs. him, but who chickened out and challenged Walujew. He apparently gave himself better chances with the softer brother and many thought after that bout, that he wouldn't have survived the first half with the tougher brother.

But I think the peaks were of the first around 1999 and the other until 2003 (with Sdunek as headcoach).

I don’t think Wlad ever beats Vitali. Vitali was mentally strong, physically strong, had an Iron Chin and a very awkward lean back style and seemed to have an uncanny ability to know when to pull his head back from an opponent’s punches. He also had a killer instinct that I think Wlad somewhat lacked.

Actually, Vitali always said his brother was the better boxer

Well, honestly i have to say i dont believe Peter was still in his peak in 2008.
Reason: After he got dropped by Jameel McCline in their fight in 2007, Samuel realized he was also vuneralbe and can hit the canvas.
He took an amazing shot from Wlad in the 12th round in their fight in 2005, but was not on the floor once.
Against McCline he was down for the first time in his career, and if you ask me these 2 KDs changed his mental attitude, he was more vunerable.

Of course he was still good enough to KO the old Oleg Maskaev, but this was not the same Sam Pater that fought Wlad in 2005.
Even in his fights against Toney he was mentally still stronger, the McCline fight came after his 2 bouts with Toney.

Only my opinion of course. But i felt Peter never mentally recovered from the 2 KDs vs. McCline.
He lost to Wlad via KO in 2010, and about the same time via brutal KO against Helenius.
His chin was lost because he was mentally broken.

No, their home channel RTL pointed it, as the little brother said it, when Peter got demolished 2008 (also likely after his own second fight with whom 2010, where he needed two rounds more). But it was after Sanders already obvious.
Also were his performances usually more impressive, in winning or not.

But his best wins came after 2005, with two time Toney (the second dominted he and even outboxed whom), Maskajew and even this McCline. He used more his boxint skills, as the jab from when onwards and was not so crude or brawled that much.

Also last he longer two years later, when he was far more faded, came to round 10. And vs. Helenius had he another year later an exciting battle with mainly close rounds.

In 2005 was his best win probably vs. Davarryl Williamson, who is known for his china-chin.

Wlad has the better fundamentals. Vitali's only shot would be by KO. The safe bet is Wlad on points

No either knockout or points will be a secure win for "Dr. Ironfist", as he outworks his brother complettly, who is too cautious and hesitate, who would be likely scared. He doesn't know any fear, has more will-power, determination and heart.
And he is a lot more agile in the upper-body just as has the better reflexes (even Fury gave massive issues here, who has average power and is clumpsy), so this would be one-sided and not so competitve.

Because he is too generous and gentle. But who shall win Wladimir Klitschko when he get outpunched with over hundred hits more in every round by his brother thrown? He waited even against Fury, who he didn't have so much respect nor had that output. It will be hard for him, to land anything.

I think Wlad would be able to win rounds against Vitali, but Vitali would be able to get to much of his offence going for Wlads chin.
