Bottom line is if Vitali wants to jump all over JCG just like Yanqui Diaz did, what can JCG do about it? Scream at him? This one is a no brainer!!

Except I see maybe Gomez winning at least 1 round tho and actually throwing some punches to at least try to make it look like a fight...unlike Peter.

I expect a 7-1 or 6-2 type of scorecard with Vitali TKOing him in the 9th.

 

Stop talking about the Yanqui Diaz fight for **** sake. This was like 8 years ago. Gomez is far from the fighter he was back then.

And Vitali isn't jumping on nobody. He doesn't have the speed to, and honestly I think his power has declined aswell, I mean Peter got abused by Jameel McCline and Vitali didn't even have him on the canvas once, nor really hurt.

I can't believe the amount of people that have written Gomez off.

If Quitali couldn't even hurt or put the human punch bag Sam Peter on the canvas, how on earth do you think he's going to KO a much better fighter in 6 rounds?

 

For F's sake, huh? You can't see the relevance in bringing that fight up?

He didn't jump all over Peter because he had respect for Peter's power, which is understandable.

But, can't say the same for JCG. Honestly, what would JCG be able to do about it? Absolutely nothing...he can't hurt the man.

My guess is that Vitali gets this one over with in a hurry.

You've got to be kidding me...how often have you seen Peter hit the canvas? Also, when has he ever been knocked out?

Have you ever seen JCG get knocked out? Don't make me bring up Yanqui again.

 

What Gomez can do is beeing quick on his feet. He has good footspeed and quite good lateral movement. I dont think he is that stupid to think he can go toe to toe with Vitali. If Gomez can deal with Vitali mentally he can be competetive for a while, but i think he wont be able to deal with Vitalis pressure for the full 12 rounds.

Get used to it...Wlad haters bring up Puritty and that was 11 years ago...they act like that fight was last week

 

Diaz caught him right behind the ear and ****ed his equilbrium, and then pinned him again the ropes with his left hand in Gomez's face and landed 17 consecutive right hands before it was stopped.

Gomez is a much better fighter than now. It would be like me bringing up the significance of Wlad Klitschko losing to Ross Purrity, when he has clearly improved as a fighter since then.

 

He didn't get knocked out. He got stopped on his feet, as I said in my above post above a big right hand and then 17 consecutive ones while pinned on the ropes and without a clue what to do.

He's way improved since then.

Jameel McCline had Peter on the canvas 3 times in one fight, how comes Vitali couldn't even hurt him after hitting him with all those right hands, stiff jabs and left hooks are 8 rounds?

 

I'll go with JCG bcuz how Byrd and Vitali went. Juan is a pretty slick south paw

 

it was four and a half years ago btw. but i agree, that doesn't have a big influence on the fight tomorrow. vitali has a definite chin advantage though, that is for sure...
