ok, byrd sounds like it could be possible but gonna disregard the others.

even though he hasnt ducked many fighters and he would still be favourite to win against the possible ducks, i can't call him an atg because of his weak era. also, injuries has affected his resume .

2013 Vitali would have a tough time against Haye who dealt way more convincingly with Chisora. Vitali's performances against Derek and Charr were lacklustre to say the least. No shame in looking old at 40+ but it is what it is. He's on tape saying he'll fight the winner of Chisora vs Haye and it didn't happen.

Haye did look pretty decent against Chisora whereas Vitali struggled occasionally with the pressure Chisora put up. Also, he called the winner out and he went on to fight Charr. I cannot prove whether or not Haye would've given him a good fight (neither can you disprove it), but he's on tape straight up pussying out of a dangerous call out he made when he thought Haye'd perform less impressively against Derek.

Which is completely irrelevant to this matter? Are you interested in a genuine discussion or not? I don't recall asking you whether Haye has ever ducked anyone or not.

vitali doesnt have to fight a guy who is known for pulling out of fights. besides, haye wasnt aggressive enough against the brother who he knew if he landed on, he hurts. vitali has an iron chin although not as agile.

those 2 points mean that vitali's possible "duck" of haye is not perceived as a big deal thus not affecting his ATG ranking. besides, vitali probably had an eye on politics and took the easiest fights.

he's been plagued by injuries and that has affected his resume.

hall of fame fighter but doesnt have good enough resume to be an ATG. And thats because of a weak era, not because of ducks.

You asked who Vitali ducked, I answered. Why would you think I'm even remotely interested in your excuses for his ducks? What is this about?

As in Top 10-15 ATG? Nope.

As in Head to Head ATG? Absolutely. Vitali would be a tough out for any Heavyweight in History.

He is really hindered by the 4 years he had to sit out. Coming back like he did without a tune up and winning was unprecedented. Several former Heavyweight champions tried that and failed. Some miserably.

Vitali shouldn't have retired. Politics is a dirty business. It is not his area. It is not for an honest person.

    Wladimir maybe. Vitali absolutely not.

Poor quality of opposition in the main.

Yes. Just look at his resume and dominance he's had during his reign as HW champion of the world. He and his brother are without question all time great heavyweight champions. They competed in a very weak era but that's not their fault. And they dominated the weak opposition like ATG's would.

What caused the injury in the lewis fight? Same thing that caused Berbick to be injured concussivly against Tyson, THE OPPONENTs fists lewis caused the injury to klitschko by punching him in the face.
