Vitali Klitschko An ATG?

Unfortunately the man is from the Ukraine, had a stint with the beloved Lennox Lewis, and now the man could knock Prime Ali and Prime Tyson out in the 1st in a damn time machine!!!!....and still wouldn't get a bit of respect from these losers.
I don't get it. I don't know if people are simply racist, or haters because of his stint with Lennox Lewis. Wladimir I could understand his boring style (though I still like him), but VK has a great chin, great KO ratio, very tough guy willing to fight...The kind of things people love. He's probably hated more than Wlad though

 

I honestly believe that if he beats Haye, a lot of the haters would come around.

Haye, Solis and Valuev. Thats my wish list.

 

:good like i said it's not his fault the division is weak but he did fight the best available and beat them. I hope he fights at least 2 more times. i like to see him beat the f@ck out of valuev then haye.

 

How does beating Haye, Solis, and Valuev make an ATG or add any real credibility? Haye is a talented fighter that I happen to like, but he hasn't really done anything at the weight and neither has Solis. Now Valuev??? Seriously? Vitali is not an ATG. He hasn't beaten any fighters worth mentioning and his best win was a loss. What makes him an ATG?

 

Much more. It's not even close. I think it's mainly because of his fight with Lewis and its aftermath and how dominant he has been. His haters actually use Wlad to discredit Vitali on a regular basis: "Wlad brother is a much better boxer than him" is the usual line.

 

Ok, I'll explain it better this time.

Vitali was the only one throwing punches in the Johnson fight. Breaking 1k isn't terribly hard for an in-shape heavyweight. I'm sure some guys do the same on heavy bags over 45 minutes.

Ike Ibeabuchi and David Tua were slugging it out for 12 full rounds, give and take kind of fatigue. That is a much more impressive.

 

No what is hated are these nuthuggers and these stupidf^cking threads. give it a rest he is the best in a sh!tty era and that is IT! He is in the top 25-30 all-time for heavies. Overall forget about it!!!!!! H2H he would Probably get beat By the Razor Ruddock who fought Tyson in the first fight and Bowe. Both who where not the best of their eras but we would never know. I wish people would stop these stupid threads and maybe the Bros will get some respect.

I think race is an issue. I think you have a lot of people (white people) who hold up the KBros as the great white hopes (along with Calzage and Marciano) all of these guys are decent fighters and the best in there era but common they cannot beat king-kong and Godzilla in one night and just because everybody does not agree that they are the best or ATG you call them haters. Common guys lets keep it real! I sorta like the Kbros But after reading this **** I am Starting get sick of them . . . and it is not fair to them because they are classy guys.

Exactly. Haye adds very little to his resume. Vitali just wants his belt. If he loses Vitali will fight Ruiz or Valuev.

Haye was virtually the undisputed crusierweight champ, and parlayed that into a heavyweight belt. He is a great of sorts- not neccesarily a great heavyweight, but a great of sorts, and his fans believe in his ability to win agaisnt Vitaly.

This would be a great showdown fight.

 

Ruddocks best wins were against competely washed up guys like Smith, Weaver and Dokes. He was chinny, and asthmatic, and whereas he was a fine boxer when he was young, he abandoned his fundamentals when he hit it big in favor of being a powerpunching brawler. I see no evidence that he would beat Vitaly.

As for Bowe, he is not much older than Vitaly and alledgedly still active. They could settle that right now, except that Bowe has no discipline whatsoever and cannot get himself into any kind of shape. Whatever miles he might have got out of the Holyfield fight (he never had another good one) he completey wasted in my book by throwing a title in a garbage can out of fear . Greatness is more than names on a resume.

I think your estimate or 20-25 is relatively fair. I would say top 20, but the man is still active and has a chance to climb.

POST SCRIPT: I don't dismiss entirely that either man might have won as both had unfulfiilled potential, but I don't see it that way for the same reason- unfullfilled potential.

 

Razor Ruddock does not have a resume apart from his wins over past it B- level guys Smith and Dokes and KO losses to LL, Tyson, Tommy Morrison and someone called David Jaco. You talk about people writing **** and then you glorify a boxer like Ruddock. Heed your own advice. atsch

 

Ruddock was not the same fighter after the first tyson fight (and neither was tyson). Razzor in that fight would have beat VK in his prime. if you did not know fighters can (like RRJ) tend get worn over time and one fight is enough to do! If it were not for Tyson, Ruddock would have been champ and a Very good one at that!

 

I want to see more out of him to say he is ATG. His size is a big advantage.

 

You stupid f'n nuthuggers cannot have it both ways. first, VK resume cannot stand up vs the heavweights of old. so therefore you create mythical matchups and claim that he can beat everyone in their prime. My point is he might have only been a contender in an early era and that a great Contender, Ruddock, who peeked at his fight with Tyson could have beat him. the Kbros are very good fighters But you idiots make me try to find a way to pick his game apart. which is pretty easy
