When the Klitschkos do finally retire we are in for some of the worst world heavyweight titlist in the history of the sport. The upside is we might at least get some closely contested title fights.

Agree with you. For this reason I really hope Wlad keeps fighting until his early 40's because at least he is a dominant heavyweight king.

Agree with all you guys here.
You have to rate both Klitschko's at least top 10 P4P based on longevity & available opposition.

I also do expect a much poorer heavyweight division in the future without them at the top, but at least there should be quite a few title changes & entertaining bouts in the process.

I say bring on David Haye for Vitali's farewell fight.

i really hope it happens, as much as people love to hate him, david haye is an exciting guy to watch, and apart from the wlad fight, he generally brings some fireworks.

Just shows how bad the Heayweight division has become. Dont want to take any credit away from either Klitschko cause they have had great careers but just cant rate them too highly in the grand sheme of things due to the opposition thats been available for them to fight.

Lewis wanted a rematch but his mother made him promise not to rematch Vitali. Biggest beating Lewis has got his entire career and he was very lucky to walk away with the TKO.

i think lewis was starting to come on strong and would have finished it in the later rounds.

I agree. The fight was still up for grabs when it was stopped after 6 rds. Imo you can't just say Vitali would have won if it went on. Who knows.

i like the klitschko and i dont even find them boring (wlad sometimes) but there opposition is there problem, they are so good at what they do there opposition has nothing to counter it, they have genuine power in both hands and would be a handful for most people from previous era's, i dont want to see them retire, they should continue while there at the very top, atleast let someone take the mantle that really deserves it and has the balls to give them a big go for there money
