This is very disappointing. It's been forever since a legit heavyweight fight was aired for the masses to see, and the top sports network in the US gives it the cold shoulder. Why did they buy it if they had no interest in it? What a tease for boxing fans who'd hoped a non-De La Hoya fight could get a little attention from the basic networks.

That was BEFORE they realized they ****ed up the timing. Then they moved it to ESPN 2 on an hour delay per CHEF.

NOW they're going to show it live on ESPN Classic and on replay on ESPN 2.

I think it's more hilarious how ESPN forgot about Daylight Savings Time.

That's something a guy who shows up an hour late for work uses as an excuse. Not a super TV network.

Over and over and over again. I'm cool with them showing stuff more than once, but it's annoying to see only a few new fights show up over the weeks. And then some of the new ones are from last year's FNF's so I have no interest in seeing them again.

Anyway, I'm glad I saw this thread or I probably would have missed the fight completely as I was planning to record it, I doubt I'll be home. Now I can probably get it no problem.

More like NCAA Tournment games, ESPN is heavily advertising them on ESPN now.
