Which is why, 5 seconds later he was on his arse, thus making all this 'he's never been down, ever' nonsense irrelevent. This whole 'great chin' thing is based on him taking 1 uppercut from Lennox Lewis :patsch Even Michael Grant took a couple before he finally went down, maybe he has an iron chin too :think

Lennox even held Grants head in position from the back.Surely that does Grant no favours

Vitali hasn't been down officially, although rocked by both Sanders and Lewis. He was falling all over Lewis late in the 6th round after taking a short right hand inside, although that also could've been from fatigue.

But other than those two fights, how often has he really been tagged hard by good punchers.

Is his chin really better than someone like say, Lamon Brewster, who's never heard of the words "block" or "duck"?

Grant took several bombs from Lewis before succumbing, VITLAY took one bomb and a few grazing shots and we all saw what they did to him :yep He also took one bomb from 40 year old Golf Sanders and danced backwards across the ring like bambi on ice, then got floored.

So he's taken 2 decent bombs that I can recall, one of which dropped him and the other one had him holding on for dear life for 30 seconds  Yeah, iron chinned warrior he is

Oliver McCall is still fighting. Evander Holyfield is still fighting. Vitali has a great chin, but it's probably not of historic proportions, and I'd put either of those two ahead of Vitali (maybe not currently, but prime for prime anyway).

Tua is right up there for sure, he took more bombs from Lewis than VITLAY did, and took everything Ibeabuchi could throw...Tua certainly had a great chin.
